Jey Uso On WWE WrestleMania XL Match: “I Kinda Felt Like We Did Let The People Down”

After years of wondering what it would be like, Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso took place at the WWE WrestleMania XL premium live event from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, earlier this month.

In the end, it was Jey with a spear, then a splash for the win. However, despite the desired outcome for many, some fans felt like it was a letdown.

Speaking with Gorilla Position, Jey noted that they felt like they let people down after much hype and build for the bout. He also noted that they had their match cut in time.

“I just said this to someone; I kinda felt like we did let the people down because I wanted to go out there and have a straight-up banger, too. I wanted to do the wrestling part but let alone make sure the emotion part is there. It was just a time issue. You just gotta play your position on the team. That’s what happened. I’m still happy though, uce, I got a singles match at WrestleMania with my brother. That’s a big picture. So, I’mma always have me and him in a face-off at WrestleMania. I’mma frame a picture, that’s always, it’s marked off our box. I just wish we could have went the way I know we can, but,” Jey said.
