WWE Debuts New “WWE Speed” Concept – It seems WWE is in the works for a new show or a pre-show segment to add to their television events.
Ahead of tonight’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI, a couple of dark matches occurred with a branding of “WWE Speed” featured on the ring logos. The matches involved NXT Superstar Nathan Frazer squaring off against RAW’s Bronson Reed in a swift encounter, which Reed emerged victorious from. Additionally, free agent Cedric Alexander clashed with NXT Superstar Axiom.
Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick provided commentary at ringside for these matches, suggesting they were filmed for potential future broadcast purposes, even though no official details or plans have been announced as of yet.
Previously, WWE has utilized NXT Superstars for pre-show matches before RAW, especially for the Main Event tapings. This recent addition could signify a new segment or show within their programming lineup.
