TNA Allocates Funds to Sign Major Free Agent – It appears that TNA Wrestling has something major in the works for its upcoming pay-per-view event, Hard To Kill, scheduled for January 13, 2024, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Historically, TNA’s PPVs have been marked by significant returns and debuts, and the buzz around this event is no different.
Scott D’Amore, head of TNA creative, hinted at an imminent major talent signing in a recent interview. The promotion is teasing a collision of worlds and an unexpected appearance that will likely leave fans stunned at the upcoming event.
Interestingly, on December 21, several former WWE stars, released back in September, will become free agents and could potentially join any promotion.
According to insights from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, TNA has allocated funds for a notable signing. Speculation suggests Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, and Matt Riddle are among the top contenders for this significant acquisition, though nothing has been confirmed as of now.
“Impact does have, from what I gather, earmarked some money to where they can spend some money on a big free agent. Whether they would or could outbid AEW, I mean, it’s doubtful they could, but you don’t know how much Tony [Khan] would be willing to spend on one of those names. And there’s other names on the list, but I don’t think any of the other names are big enough to warrant what Scott said. So those are the obvious choices. I don’t think there’s anyone whose WWE contract is coming due who hasn’t either resigned or and again.”
