Sasha Banks Reportedly Demands Substantial Fee for Potential WWE Comeback – It seems Mercedes Mone, known in WWE as Sasha Banks, is commanding a hefty price for her return to the company.
According to reports from Fightful’s The Hump, her asking price surpasses what Charlotte Flair, who recently signed a high-paying WWE deal, is making. Flair signed her new deal several months ago and it’s believed one of the highest-paying deals ever to a female wrestler. This does not mean that Mone was aware of what Flair was/is making with WWE. The amount she is asking for just happens to be higher. Given what the men make, one could argue that she deserves the amount she’s asking for.
As a free agent with no current affiliation, Mone’s plans to potentially debut in AEW have been changed. Initially considered for an AEW stint after her appearance at ALL In: London in August, those plans have now shifted. While Saraya expressed eagerness to face Mone in AEW, the situation remains uncertain. WWE hasn’t confirmed if they’re willing to meet Mone’s asking price, leaving her future open-ended. Whether she returns to WWE, joins AEW, or even considers TNA, 2024 is set to be intriguing, with several free agents entering the market.
