Saraya’s Brother Zak Knight Makes AEW Debut – Saraya’s brother, Zak Knight, stepped into the ring for All Elite Wrestling during Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite event at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
Known in the ring as Zak Zodiac, he had previously made appearances in the AEW crowd to support his sister. Despite mentioning back in June that he was promised a dark match in AEW, it never materialized until now.
A while back, Saraya advocated for WWE to sign both Zak and Roy, her brothers, to the NXT UK brand, but that opportunity didn’t come to fruition.
Zak Knight finally had his chance, wrestling a dark match against Peter Avalon at the event. Whether this match will be broadcast remains uncertain. Before the show, he expressed his anticipation for the future with a tweet:
“Oklahoma City tomorrow is the final stop of the month long tour in the U.S. I’ve been extremely fortunate to travel with AEW. Tony Khan and the whole roster have been extremely welcoming, with a fantastic atmosphere backstage and I got to see some incredible matches LIVE!
Can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store! 20 years of blood, sweat and tears, and I’m finally getting to experience the life I’ve dreamed of!
