Ratings for 12/15 WWE SmackDown & AEW Rampage – 12/15 WWE SmackDown averaged 2.240 million viewers on FOX, which is down from 2.384 million viewers last week on FOX, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.55 rating, down from the 0.63 rating a week ago. Last week was the highest total viewership since October 13 and the highest key demo rating since October 6.
SmackDown featured the return of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Randy Orton vs. Jimmy Uso, and more. Ratings were expected to be down from last week as that show had the first appearance by CM Punk in nearly a decade.

As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 308,000 viewers and a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET timeslot on Friday. Last week, in the same timeslot, the show drew 341,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating.
Orange Cassidy, Ross Von Erich & Marshall Von Erich vs. Jake Hager, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker, The Don Callis Family (Powerhouse Hobbs & Kyle Fletcher) vs. Hunter Grey & Paul Titan, Anna Jay vs. Red Velvet, Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) & Action Andretti vs. Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander & El Hijo del Vikingo were among the matches featured on the show.
