Dominik Mysterio Signs New WWE Contract – According to reports from PWInsider, Dominik Mysterio has recently inked a new contract with WWE. The agreement was finalized about a month ago and is believed to extend over a period of five years.
Sources close to the matter indicate that one source has explicitly mentioned the contract’s duration as five years, while another confirmed the signing but couldn’t specify the length of the deal.
Over the past year, Dominik Mysterio, also known as ‘Dirty Dom,’ has emerged as one of WWE’s notable success stories. His high-profile match against his father, Rey Mysterio, at WrestleMania 39 in April garnered significant attention. Additionally, Dominik captured the NXT North American Championship twice in 2023, marking a noteworthy year for the young talent who made his WWE debut at SummerSlam in 2020.
Shawn Michaels told The Ringer’s Cheap Heat podcast earlier this month that he believes Dominik is WWE’s MVP of 2023.
“I have nothing but admiration for that young man,” Michaels said. “He has been a stud for us.”
On WWE’s holiday house show tour, Dominik will be facing CM Punk in a pair of matches. Dominik vs. Punk is set for Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 26 and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on December 30.
