Ric Flair Contemplates Departure from AEW Amid Criticism of Taped Rampage Promo – Sting and Ric Flair are set to appear on Friday’s AEW Rampage, in a segment that was taped on Wednesday.
According to those in attendance, Flair said a line in his promo where he “invited all the women in the audience from ages 18-28 to meet him in his hotel room. No boyfriends or husbands.”
It is unknown if the line will be edited off television when AEW Rampage airs on Friday.
Taking to social media, Flair posted the following tweet:

Ric Flair was Tony Khan’s gift to Sting as part of Sting’s retirement tour and has been by Sting’s side in AEW television appearances, including this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
Sting’s retirement match is set to AEW Revolution 2024, which takes place on March 3 in Greensboro, NC.
