Chris Jericho Forces Konosuke Takeshita to Tap Out at DDT Pro-Wrestling Ultimate Party 2023 – DDT Pro-Wrestling held its DDT Ultimate Party 2023 event on November 12 from Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan. The event aired on Wrestle Universe.
During the show, Chris Jericho made Konosuke Takeshita tap out. Post-match, Jericho thanked Genichiro Tenryu for being a mentor to him during his early days in Japan. He also said he would wrestle Takeshita 100 times in a row if he could.
“I just think he’s gaining more and more confidence because he knows who he is as a wrestler. That’s very important for any young wrestler to understand who you are as an athlete, as a showman, as an entertainer. That’s how you become a Main Event money-drawing professional wrestler, and now he knows who he is. He understands when to make big moves. I think it’s a cliche, but I think the sky’s the limit for him, and I would wrestle him 100 times in a row if I had the opportunity,” he said.
