Thunder Rosa Expected to Return Very Shortly – There’s promising news for AEW fans as one of the injured stars, Thunder Rosa, appears to be on the verge of making a long-awaited return to the wrestling ring after more than a year on the sidelines.
Thunder Rosa had been sidelined due to a back injury, which forced her to withdraw from an AEW Women’s Title defense at last year’s All Out event, ultimately leading to her relinquishing the title.
During her time away from the ring, she contributed to AEW by providing Spanish commentary, staying connected with the promotion and the fans.
Her most recent in-ring action was in August 2022 when she, alongside Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida, secured victory in a trios match against Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose.
Reports from late July indicated that Thunder Rosa was actively training for her return in San Antonio, even partnering with former WWE star Shochi Funaki in her preparations.
In a recent update from Dave Meltzer on F4Wonline.com’s Daily Update, it was mentioned, “We’re told Thunder Rosa is now expected back very shortly.” This news is sure to excite fans who have been eagerly anticipating her return to the AEW ring.
