Spoiler on a Title Match for Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite – It appears that at least one title change is on the horizon for next Tuesday night’s AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday special.
AEW has already scheduled a highly-anticipated trilogy match between Jon Moxley and Rey Fenix of The Lucha Bros for the AEW International Championship during the upcoming Dynamite episode. This clash will mark the third encounter between Fenix, the current International title-holder, and Moxley, the former champion.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason AEW expedited the booking of this third match between Mox and Fenix in just few weeks, is due to the severity of the injury that Fenix has been wrestling through.
It appears that AEW’s decision to quickly arrange this contest is aimed at allowing Fenix to step away from in-ring competition and begin the recovery process following the title change.
AEW has announced the following matches for the Tuesday, Oct. 10 episode of AEW Dynamite:
- AEW TNT Championship #1 Contenders Match: Bryan Danielson vs. Swerve Strickland
- AEW International Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Jon Moxley
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Saraya (c) vs. Hikaru Shida (Ruby Soho banned from ringside)
- Adam Copeland vs. Luchasaurus
- Jay White vs. Hangman Page
- Chris Jericho vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
- Christian Cage explains his actions
