Roman Reigns Vs LA Knight Now Official for WWE Crown Jewel – LA Knight is set to be the next challenger for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
WWE has confirmed that Reigns will defend his championship against LA Knight at the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, scheduled for Saturday, November 4. The match was announced by the Los Angeles Times.
Their storyline began when LA Knight teamed up with John Cena to take on The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa at Fastlane. Knight secured the victory by pinning Jimmy Uso. A subsequent confrontation between LA Knight and Reigns occurred when Reigns made his return to SmackDown. Knight then defeated Solo Sikoa in the main event of that episode, only to be laid out by Reigns with a spear after the match.
This match will mark Reigns’ first title defense since his victory over Jey Uso at SummerSlam in August. LA Knight has been on a winning streak, with victories at three consecutive WWE premium live events, including his triumph at Fastlane, winning the SummerSlam battle royal in August, and defeating The Miz at Payback in September.
Crown Jewel will stream live on Peacock/WWE Network starting at 1 p.m. Eastern time on November 4. Here’s what’s been announced for the show so far:
- Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends against LA Knight
- World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defends against Drew McIntyre
- Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defends against Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark in a fatal five-way match
A United States Championship match with Logan Paul challenging Rey Mysterio is also planned for Crown Jewel but has not been officially announced yet.
