Rick Boogs Refrains from Discussing WWE – Rick Boogs has refrained from commenting on his WWE release, citing contractual obligations.
Boogs, who was released by WWE on September 21, along with several other talents from both the main roster and NXT, has maintained a low profile regarding his departure. He had not been actively wrestling since his participation in the Slim Jim Battle Royal at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
In a recent workout video, Boogs addressed the situation, stating, “I know people are curious, saying, ‘You’re not in WWE anymore, let’s talk about it.’ I can’t, guys. I’m technically still under contract for three more months. My birthday is on December 21, and as a birthday present, I’ll be free from my contract, essentially. Until then, I’m still bound by my contract.”
Previously, Boogs has briefly touched on his WWE release in YouTube comments, where he stated, “I can say with 100% certainty, the removal of Vince killed my career.” This comment appears to suggest his belief that changes within WWE leadership had a negative impact on his career trajectory.
