Rick Boogs Released

Rick Boogs Released – Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Rick Boogs has been released from WWE. While Boogs has yet to comment on his release, this development appears to be part of the company’s ongoing efforts to manage its budget.

Boogs initially joined WWE in 2017, where he began his journey in NXT and also made appearances for EVOLVE. However, his true breakthrough came in 2021 when he made his main roster debut as the energetic electric guitarist accompanying Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring. Their partnership evolved into a tag team, and they even competed for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 38. Unfortunately, during that match, Boogs suffered a quad injury.

After months of rehabilitation, Boogs made his triumphant return to WWE in January 2023 on Monday Night Raw. His release from the company comes as a surprising twist in his wrestling career, leaving fans and the wrestling community curious about what’s next for the talented performer.
