LA Knight References Roman Reigns’ Infamous ‘Sufferin’ Succotash’ Line – On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, the mind games were in full swing as LA Knight got into the head of the Undisputed WWE World Champion, Roman Reigns. The show opened with Roman Reigns preparing for his contract signing with LA Knight, holding the championship high in the ring.

However, LA Knight made a dramatic entrance, striding past Roman and entering the ring himself. He confidently took his place at the contract signing table, much to the displeasure of Reigns and Paul Heyman.

Knight didn’t stop there; he cleverly referenced one of Roman’s past infamous lines, the “sufferin’ succotash” remark from a January 2015 episode of WWE SmackDown, where Roman criticized Seth Rollins.

This psychological warfare eventually reached its tipping point as Roman Reigns couldn’t tolerate Knight’s taunts any longer. The contract signing escalated into a brawl, concluding with Knight gaining the upper hand by driving Jimmy Uso through a table. The tension is palpable as these two fierce competitors prepare for their showdown at WWE Crown Jewel.
