Giant WWE Championship Structure Adorns the Front of New WWE HQ – A new monument has been unveiled in front of WWE’s new headquarters, serving as a prominent centerpiece for the building. The 7-foot-tall structure is shaped like the WWE Championship belt and is currently under construction, with more details and embellishments yet to be added. In its finished form, the monument will also function as a bench, allowing visitors to sit on its flat straps.
Stamford Advocate featured an article on this impressive monument, capturing the attention and appreciation of local residents. Kevin Grandison, who works in Stamford, expressed his enthusiasm for the monument, describing it as a “big belt” that complements the building’s aesthetic.
The city granted a building permit for the monument on November 23, 2022, following a thorough review process involving multiple city departments. This process included assessments by the fire marshal, Environmental Protection Board, Zoning Board, zoning enforcement, and the building department.
The monument’s fabrication is attributed to Concreteworks East, with structural engineering provided by Craft Engineering Studio, based in New York. As WWE finalizes its relocation to its new offices at 677-707 Washington Blvd, the monument adds a distinctive touch to the company’s new headquarters.
