The incident at JFK Airport involved Port Authority officers who alleged that Riddle was “disruptive” and “heavily intoxicated” during a flight transfer. Riddle later took to Instagram to accuse one of the officers of sexual assault. Both WWE and the Port Authority have initiated internal investigations into the matter.
Riddle had been actively involved in a program with Drew McIntyre on WWE Raw prior to his absence. Over the past month, McIntyre had reluctantly teamed up with Riddle in matches against The Viking Raiders and New Day.
