Trish Stratus – Becky Lynch Steel Cage Match Confirmed For WWE Payback – WWE has confirmed that Trish Stratus will face Becky Lynch for WWE Payback.
On the August 14 episode of WWE Raw, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch battled to a double count out after the two men fought through the stands and to the concessions area. Zoey Stark, who was banned from ringside, attacked Lynch at the merchandise table to help Trish stand tall.
After the match, WWE official Adam Pearce announced that Trish and Becky would run it back in a cage match.
In international markets and on WWE Main Event, the cage match between Trish and Becky is being advertised for WWE Payback.
WWE confirmed the match with an on-screen graphic on the August 21 episode of WWE Raw. There, Lynch came to the ring to discuss the match, and Stratus interrupted her. Stratus vowed to stand tall.
