‘The Man’ engaged in a fierce clash with Trish Stratus. Regrettably, the highly awaited encounter concluded with a double-countout, as both participants brawled their way into the audience and the concourse area, where Zoey Stark intervened by assaulting Lynch, ultimately aiding Stratus in leaving Lynch incapacitated.
Subsequent to the match, WWE official Adam Pearce approached Stratus and Stark backstage. He announced that Lynch and Stratus would face each other once more, but this time, it would take place inside a Steel Cage. Notably, the exact date for this rematch is yet to be disclosed.
The rivalry between these two competitors commenced in April when Stratus, following a loss of the Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Lynch, launched an attack on her former partner. Their initial singles confrontation occurred at the Night Of Champions premium live event, where Stratus managed to secure the win thanks to the involvement of her new ally, Zoey Stark.
