The tag team of Veer Mahaan & Sanga, led by Jinder Mahal, has experienced a fluctuating trajectory within WWE. However, with WWE’s upcoming major event in India, Jinder Mahal has purportedly disclosed that Indus Sher will be given a noteworthy championship opportunity.
According to Sportskeeda, Jinder Mahal has shared that Indus Sher is slated to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Their opponents will be Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, and the match is scheduled for September 8.
Although Indus Sher has not been prominently featured on WWE television lately, they made an appearance on the August 7 episode of WWE Main Event, where they emerged victorious against Akira Tozawa & Apollo Crews. Their last appearance on proper WWE television dates back to their triumph over Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin on the June 19 episode of Monday Night Raw.
While WWE has yet to officially confirm the matches for the upcoming event, they have announced that John Cena will be participating in a wrestling match in India for the first time ever on September 8. This revelation has heightened the anticipation surrounding the event.
