Next Week On Impact Wrestling: World Title Defense, Trinity Match, More – Leading up to the upcoming Emergence event, there are significant developments set to unfold on next Thursday’s episode of Impact on AXS TV.
Brian Myers has been confirmed as the challenger for the Impact World title. However, the identity of his opponent remains uncertain. Alex Shelley, the current titleholder, will be defending his championship against NJPW legend Hiroshi Tanahashi at Impact x NJPW Multiverse United 2. The winner of that match will go on to defend the title against Myers on the upcoming episode of Impact.
In non-title action, Impact Knockouts Champion Trinity is scheduled to face Jody Threat. This match occurs shortly before Trinity defends her championship against former titleholder Deonna Purrazzo at the Emergence event.
A unique showdown is set to take place as former X-Division Champion Chris Sabin squares off against Samuray del Sol, formerly known as Kalisto in WWE. This encounter marks Samuray del Sol’s Impact debut.
