Further Details on Kairi Sane’s WWE Comeback – Kairi Sane is reportedly gearing up for a return to WWE later this year. Dave Meltzer provided insights into the decision-making process behind this move in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Initially, it’s been reported that KAIRI wished to participate more frequently in STARDOM wrestling events. However, the parent company of STARDOM, Bushiroad, wanted her to commit exclusively to them in exchange for a more extensive booking schedule. This would naturally involve a desire for increased earnings as an exclusive wrestler.
Facing this situation, KAIRI found herself at a crossroads, considering a potential return to WWE, despite maintaining a strong bond with Rossy Ogawa, the present executive producer of STARDOM. According to Meltzer, she sought advice from those close to her, who encouraged her to make the decision that would leave her without future doubts or regrets.
“She talked with those close to her who supported her leaving with the idea that if she doesn’t, she later in life would always have questions or regrets about it.”
With Asuka and IYO SKY experiencing significant accomplishments in WWE, KAIRI reportedly gained confidence that she could excel further under the creative direction of Triple H. As Triple H is currently overseeing WWE’s creative endeavors, Kairi Sane’s optimism is rooted in her prior success in WWE’s NXT, where she clinched the NXT Championship in 2018 during Triple H’s tenure.
Kairi Sane has committed to fulfilling her commitments with STARDOM until September, subsequently embarking on her new chapter. Her decision marks an intriguing progression in her wrestling journey, with WWE fans eagerly anticipating her return under the creative guidance of Triple H.
