Eddie Kingston returned to AEW on the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite to get involved in the battle between Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, & Claudio Castagnoli) and The Elite (The Young Bucks & Hangman Page).
Kingston focused his energy on Claudio Castagnoli, who defeated him to retain the ROH World Title at ROH Supercard of Honor. Despite helping The Elite by attacking Claudio, Kingston did not go after Jon Moxley when they came face-to-face.
Things continued to break down as Konosuke Takeshita hit the ring to help Blackpool Combat Club, but he was greeted by a returning Kenny Omega.
After Omega took out Takesita with a v-trigger, he was caught off guard by Will Ospreay. Ospreay blasted Omega with a superkick, storm breaker, and hidden blade.
