6/16 WWE SmackDown Results – We start off with a look back at Jey’s decision to not give a decision about his decision regarding the Bloodline and all the drama around them.
– Kayla Braxton is in the garage and thankfully the Bloodline has just arrived. Solo opens the door for Roman Reigns. Paul shows up behind Kayla. She asks them about Jey’s status in the Bloodline. Paul stares at Kayla and walks away.
– We are live from the Rupp Arena in Louisville, Kentucky as The Street Profits make their way to the ring for the #1 contenderships to Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles. The Brawling Brutes are next, while the other teams are already in the ring.
Gauntlet Match to determine new Tag Team #1 contenders
Pretty Deadly vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland vs. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro vs. The Street Profits
Sheamus and Ridge Holland vs. The Street Profits
Ford and Sheamus start things off and Ford with a head scissors. Sheamus blocks a side head lock take down. Sheamus with a shoulder tackle. Ford with a drop kick and he poses. Sheamus with a waist lock and Ford lands onhis feet on a belly-to-back suplex. Ford with a chop. Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Ridge tags in and Ford with punches. Rdige with a front face lock and he swings Ford and follows with a suplex. Ford holds on to the front face lock. Ford with chops. Rdige goes for a belly-to-back suplex and Ford lands on his feet. Ford with an enzuigiri and Dawkins tags in and he clotheslines Ridge and then he knocks Sheamus off the apron. Dawkins with a corkscrew back elbow and a twisting splash into the corner. Ridge misses a clothesline and Angelo with a punch Ridge with a head butt and Sheamus with a Brogue Kick for the three count.
Street Profits Eliminated
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland
Luke with a punch and kick to Sheamus. They hit a neck breaker and belly-to-back suplex combination for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Luke with a Samoan drop for a near fall on Sheamus.
We see Kevin and Sami in HALLWAY watching MATCH on MONITOR.
Karl tags in and he rakes the eyes. Sheamus punches Karl and Karl with forearms. Luke tags in and he kicks Sheamus and he punches Sheamus. Luke with a suplex and he applies a reverse chin lock. Sheamus with punches and Luke with a kick. Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl power slam and both men are down. Karl tags in and he stops Sheamus from making the tag and he knocks Ridge off the apron. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick for the three count.
OC Eliminated
Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland
Cruz and Wilde send Sheamus to the floor and hit stereo flip dives. Wilde with a missile drop kick to Sheamus and Cruz tags in. Cruz with a moonsault for a near fall. Sheamus sends Wilde to the floor and Sheamus with a blind tag. Sheamus with a Brogue kick to Cruz. Ridge with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a power bomb to pin Wilde.
LWO Eliminated
Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland
As soon as Hit Row enter the ring, Sheamus with a Brogue kick to Dolla for the three count.
Hit Row eliminated
Pretty Deadly vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland
Kit Wilson and Elton Brand are pretty scared to enter the ring and they ask for a timeout so… We go to commercial.
We are back and Ridge with a front face lock. Elton runs Ridge into the turnbuckles and tags in Kit. We see Ridge miss a shoulder tackle on the floor and he hits the ring steps. Wilson with a neck breaker for a near fall. Elton tags in and he punches Ridge while Kit holds on to the front face lock. Elton with punches and clotheslines in the corner. Elton with a hard Irish whip. Elton gets a near fall. Elton clips Ridge and tags in Kit. They set for a double suplex but Ridge drops down to block it. Ridge with a double back drop and Ridge falls towards his corner. Sheamus makes the tag.
Sheamus with double sledges to Elton and Kit followed by clotheslines in the corner. Sheamus with uranage back breakers to both men. Sheamus with a Finlay slam to Kit and then he slams Elton onto Kit. Sheamus sets for a Brogue Kick and Kit moves. Kit with a kick and he tries for a neck breaker. Sheamus with an Alabama Slam but Elton breaks up the cover. Ridge sends Elton to the floor with a shoulder tackle. Elton sends Ridge into the ring post and steps. Sheamus sets for a Celtic Cross but Kit gets to the apron for a series of forearms (33!), but he does not want to keep Elton out of the fun so he stacks them. Elton tags in while Sheamus hits the Celtic Cross. Elton with a leg drop off the turnbuckles for the three count.
Winners and new #1 Contenders: Pretty Deadly
We see Kevin and Sami watching from the back.

We are back and Pretty Deadly is still in the ring. Kit and Elton hug until Sami Zayn’s music plays and the Men’s Tag Team Champions make their way to the stage.
Sami thanks everyone for the welcome. He says there are some congratulations owed to Pretty Deadly. Sami says he did not expect them to win. He says nobody expected them to win. You won five minutes ago and you are still celebrating. You have overstayed your moment for five minutes. Sami tells them to get the hell out of the ring.
Elton says that very cute. He says he has a question. They beat five teams and their hair is drier than what is on your heads. How dare you interrupt Pretty Deadly and Kit throws out a number of YES BOYs. Kit says they want to cut to the chase. When they become the new Tag Team Champions, they will stay out and celebrate for EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEven longer. You can all celebrate too and they will go EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEven longer. They will continue to go EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEven longer.
Sami asks Kevin if he is hearing this. Sami says the way that Kevin has been blowing up, he wants to know if this bothers him. Kevin says hearing them and looking at them makes him want to go to the ring and punch their stupid faces. Sami suggests that they do it.
Kevin and Sami enter the ring and Kit and Elton are able to escape them.
Backstage:
Roman is scowling in the locker room and Paul tries to get the words to talk to him. Paul asks if Roman has spoken to Jey. Roman asks who is the Tribal Chief and Paul tells Roman he is the Tribal Chief. He says that when Jey is Tribal Chief, people can talk to him, but it is for Jey to reach out to him. Roman tells Paul to talk to Jey and he tells him to do it NOW.
We go to commercial.
Iyo Sky vs. Zelina Vega
Vega offers her hand to Sky and she pie faces Vega. Vega with a forearm and punches to Iyo. Iyo gets a near fall after a leg sweep. Vega with a leg sweep and cover. Iyo with a handspring to escape a head scissors take down. Vega with forearms and she runs into a boot in the corner. Iyo with a boot to the arm off the ropes. Iyo with a hanging straitjacket choke. Iyo with another stop to the arm from the turnbuckles. Io with a hammer lock and Vega tries to get to the ropes. Iyo goes for a slam and Vega escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Vega with a boot to the head and she prepares to go off the ropes but Bayley gets on the apron. Iyo almost hits Bayley.
Bayley distracts the referee while Iyo has Vega rolled up and the referee does not make the count in time. Iyo yells at Bayley and Vega with a Tiger Feint Kick for the three count.
Winner: Zelina Vega
– We take a look back at Bianca Belair being the good employee while Charlotte interrupted the belt exchange ceremony to get a match the night before Money in the Bank.
Backstage:
Bianca comes up to Adam to find out when she gets her rematch. Adam says he is trying to figure it out and he says he cannot give her an answer tonight. Bianca says she is not going to wait around like a good soldier. She is going to do it her way.
– We see the ring being set up for the Grayson Waller Effect.
Back to commercial.
Backstage:
Bayley and Iyo are still yelling at each other. Bayley tells Iyo that they need to trust each other. Shotzi says it wasn’t everyone for themselves and that is why she isn’t in Money in the Bank. Shotzi tells Bayley if she is so confident, why not put your spot in the match on the line. Iyo says Bayley accepts. Shotzi says she will go to Pearce to get the match made. Bayley asks why did she do it and Iyo says she was trying to help.
Grayson Waller Effect
It is time for the Grayson Waller Effect with Grayson Waller. Waller introduces his guest, Charlotte Flair.
Waller says he wants to woooo right now, but he decides to ask Charlotte about her title match against Asuka in two weeks. Waller brings up how Charlotte ended Asuka’s winning streak at a prior Wrestlemania. Waller says this isn’t the same Asuka.
Waller asks if she will become a fifteen time champion. Charlotte says since we are talking numbers, she says she has Asuka’s number. Charlotte allows Waller to woooo and he does it.
That signals for Bianca Belair to make her way to the ring.
Bianca says someone needs to explain to her how things work around here. She says she lost the title and was told she would get a rematch but she doesn’t get one. Then Charlotte comes back and she gets a match. Bianca wants to know if she is trippin’.
Charlotte says she walked in and called her shot. She did not break any rules. She says the line starts with her. Charlotte says she didn’t get a rematch so aren’t they both entitled to a rematch.
Bianca says she tried to do it the right way. She got defeated and she stayed. She tried to do it the right way. She does not understand. She didn’t run away and hide for three months. Maybe she should take things into her own hands.
Charlotte asks Bianca if she thinks she ran away, she stepped away. She has beaten the best and she has lost to the best. She is a champion with or without the title. Charlotte asks Bianca if she is the champion with or without the title.
Bianca says she is the longest reigning champion and she didn’t have to do it fourteen times so put some respect on her name. You can talk about what you have done and what I have done, but the past is the past. I will be standing ringside for your match against Asuka. Whoever wins that match, I am going to step in that ring and she is going to call her shot because the title is coming back to her.
Backstage:
Jey Uso is in the back and Paul Heyman shows up. Paul says he is sorry that he told Jey the truth last week. He says he is sorry that he was right last week. He says he is sorry that his brother cost him the title last week. Paul says it was intentional because Jimmy does not miss. He meant to kick Roman at Night of Champions and he meant to kick you last week. The jealousy and envy on display to embarrass and victimize his brother on national TV. You don’t deserve that. For that, Paul says he is sorry. Jey says he is sorry too. He says he is sorry that if he is in, then Paul is still out.
– AJ Styles and Mia Yim make their way to the ring. They’ll face Karrion Kross and Scarlett after a commercial.
AJ Styles and Mia Yim vs. Karrion Kross and Scarlett
The men start and AJ with a sliding forearm. Mia tags in and she hits a head scissors on Kross. Scarlett with a double thrust and take down for a near fall. Mia with chops and kicks. Mia with a German suplex but she falls into her corner and tags in Kross. Mia and AJ with Pele Kicks. Scarlett sends Mia to the floor. AJ with a Styles Clash and Scarlett grabs AJ to break up the cover. AJ tells Scarlett ‘I’m married, bitch’ and she slaps him. MIa pulls Scarlett to the floor and Mia with a take down by the hair.
Kross with a Kross Jacket and then a Kross Hammer and a spinning flatliner for the three count.
Winners: Scarlett and Karrion Kross
Backstage:
Roman is still scowling and Paul returns to the room while Solo still stands behind them. Roman wants to know what happened. Paul does not say anything for a while and then he meekly starts to speak but the Solo Statue moves and Paul runs away.
Solo asks Roman if he needs him to handle things. Roman says they have plenty of time.
We go to commercial.
– Kayla is with Cameron Grimes in the back. She asks him how he has adjusted. Baron Corbin shows up and sends Grimes into a production case and he chokes Grimes.
In the Arena:
Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring.
Rey wants to know what is good tonight. He says he has had many accomplishments over the years and there is one accomplishment that he is truly proud of. Reforming the LWO. The person he is going to introduce is the essence of the LWO and can become the next Mr. Money in the Bank. He brings out Santos Escobar.
Santos says timing is everything. He says he has worked hard and he has made a lot of sacrifices for the opportunity of a lifetime. He says when he competes for the Money in the Bank contract. He tells Rey thank you for believing in him. He tells Rey that he loves him and then he hugs Rey. Santos says Rey inspires him and he is fighting for Rey and his people and family. He is fighting for anyone who has a dream.
LA Knight interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.
Knight offers his hand to Rey and he pushes Rey. Santos and Knight exchange punches and then Santos sends Knight into the ropes and Rey sets for a 619 but Knight gets to the floor.
We go to commercial.
Santos Escobar vs. LA Knight
The match is joined in progress and Knight with a reverse chin lock. Santos with two flying forearms and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Santos is sent to the apron by Knight but Santos with a kick. Santos goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Santos with a running double knee strike and he sets for a Phantom Driver but Knight escapes and hits a slam. Knight with the YEAH Elbow for a near fall. Santos with a kick and he gets on Knight’s shoudlers. Santos goes for a victory roll but Knight blocks it for a near fall. Santos rolls through and gets the three count.
Winner: LA Knight
After the match, Knight attacks Santos from behind and punches him. Knight with kicks. Rey comes to the ring and Knight goes to the floor.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Jey Uso walks in the back and he stops next to Sami Zayn. Sami nods his head at Jey and walks away.
In the Arena:
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Ready for some drama?
After 8 minutes entrance, we go to commercial…
We are back and next week, we will have the Women’s Tag Team Unification Match. Cameron Grimes will face Baron Corbin. Bayley faces Shotzi and if Shotzi wins, she takes Bayley’s spot in Money in the Bank.
Back in the ring and Roman looks around and he tells Lexington to ACKNOWLEDGE him.
Jey Uso makes his way to the ring and Roman is smiling.
Jey paces in the ring and Roman says he knows what they want. He says they want answers. Are you in or are you out?
Jey tells Roman to tell him. He says it is either him (Paul) or it is me.
Roman has that Roman look on his face.
He tells Jey when he is Tribal Chief he can pick whoever he wants to be his wise man. He is not the Bloodline’s wise man, he is Roman’s wise man. Roman says he was meant to get them to the promised land and Jey is meant to keep them here. Paul said they started grooming him but they have been doing it for three years. They are putting equity in you. Why are you the Right Hand Man and Main Event Jey? You are meant to lead, just not yet. The problem is not Paul, it is your brother.
Roman says he knows you are inseparable.
Jimmy shows up and he makes his way to the ring.
Jimmy says the problem is not Jey’s brother, but his cousin. You say you are a leader and he is grooming you? He is screwing you. Do you believe the garbage coming out of Roman’s mouth? Do you believe this? Over him?
Roman starts to laugh and they weren’t doing this ten years ago. It took ten years to get you into Wrestlemania. Since you have been with him, you have main evented each of them. Roman says Jimmy is an anchor while Roman lifts him up. You are the successor. You can’t be a Tribal Chief and a twin at the same time. Let him plead and beg for you. Roman says he can put on a mask too.
Roman asks Paul who had the problem when Jey was named the Right Hand Man. Roman says it was Paul’s decision. Paul points at Jimmy.
Jey looks at Jimmy and Jimmy looks down at the mat. Jey wants to know if that was true. Jimmy says it is true and Jey starts to pace again. Jey asks Jimmy if he doubted him.
Jimmy says he never doubted him. Jey says he expects it from Roman, but not you. Jey says Jimmy will say he know what’s best for him. That’s your older brother. That is all he heard growing up. They were competing wtih Roman but he has been keeping up with Jimmy the whole time.
You were the prom king, player of the year, most likely to succeed. Jey says there was a blessing in disguise when you got hurt. He says he main evented Smackdown and pay per views because of Roman.
Jey tells Jimmy that he is out… and Jey says he is out too. Jey super kicks Roman!
Solo goes after Jey and Jimmy with a super kick and Jimmy with a super kick. Roman staggers to his feet and he yells at Jimmy and Jey. Jimmy and Jey with a double super kick as the crowd erupts!
