Pretty Deadly Earns Tag Team Titles Shot – To kick off the June 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, six teams competed in a gauntlet match to determine new number one contenders.
The Brawling Brutes ran the gauntlet with consecutive wins over The Street Profits, The O.C., The LWO, and Hit Row in that order. The bout then came down to Sheamus and Ridge Holland vs. Pretty Deadly to continue their recent feud.
In the end, thanks to a blind tag Elton Prince scored the pinfall over Sheamus to win the bout for Pretty Deadly.
Pretty Deadly, who are former NXT UK and NXT Tag Team Champions, will receive their WWE Tag Team Championship match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on the June 30 episode of SmackDown in London the night before WWE Money in the Bank.
