Two Title Matches Announced For NXT Battleground – Wes Lee is now the target of Joe Gacy and his friend Tyler Bate and all three parties are set to collide in a Triple Threat at WWE NXT Battleground.
On tonight’s NXT, Gacy and Schism attacked both Lee and Bate. Later in the show, Lee would call out Gacy, and Gacy would make it clear that he wants to face Lee for the NXT North American Championship at Battleground. Tyler would not sit back and allow this to happen as he came out and made his intentions clear to get revenge on Joe and challenge for the North American Title.
Lee was quick to accept a Triple Threat scenario.
Tonight’s show also saw Noam Dar hosted his âSupernova Sessionsâ talk show with Dragon Lee as his guest. Tensions rose between the two stars as they took shots at each other. Lee expressed his interest in the Before long, Nathan Frazer interrupted and lobbied for Dar to defend his NXT Heritage Cup Trophy against Lee. As a result, Dar vs. Lee for the cup has been made official for NXT Battleground.
The NXT Heritage Cup was established in 2020 on NXT UK with A-Kid (Axiom) emerging as the inaugural winner. Dar has held it since July 2022, shortly before NXT UK went on an indefinite hiatus. The cup is defended under British Rounds rules, which includes six three-minute rounds.

- NXT Womenâs Championship tournament finals: TBD vs. TBD
- NXT Heritage Cup Championship: Noam Dar (c) vs. Dragon Lee
