Trinity Files Trademark For Her Ring Name – The former Naomi, Trinity, real name Trinity Fatu, has locked down her new ring name.
Trinity is in a new chapter in her pro wrestling career as she made her Impact Wrestling debut at the television tapings in Chicago last Friday night.
Last May, due to WWE creative differences with Vince McMahon last May, Trinity walked out of WWE alongside Mercedes Mone. They were later suspended until they negotiated their releases.
As previously noted, the former WWE star recently opened up on her departure from the company while speaking on Busted Open Radio.
The Impact Wrestling star had attorney Michael Dockins file the trademark with the USPTO for the purposes of entertainment services on April 30. Here is the description:
“Mark For: TRINITY™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestlers and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
Trinity will make her first appearance on Impact Wrestling television on tonight’s episode.
