Tony Khan To Make Another Huge Announcement Next Week – Tony Khan appeared on tonight’s show and mentioned that there are wrestlers who are looking for an opportunity to wrestle. Earlier in the show, Thunder Rosa and Miro were seen walking into Khan’s office.
Rumors have been circulating for some time about the future of All Elite Wrestling. There has been talk about a third AEW TV show potentially titled “Collision,” the possible return of CM Punk following the events of last year’s All Out, and the inclusion of AEW programming on HBO Max (soon to be rebranded as simply Max). Additionally, sometime next Wednesday it is expected that Warner Bros. Discovery will announce a new TV deal and it’s believed that AEW will get an increase in their rights fees, which includes Dynamite, Rampage and Collision.
Ultimately, Khan’s revelation could be any number of things. Though his words do seem to hint at a new show on the horizon, he mentioned some key details in the segment. First, he said that the announcement will be on TNT next week rather than the regular home for “Dynamite” on TBS, words that he chose carefully and apparently very much on purpose. Then, he referenced a “follow to one of the most important announcements ever in the history of AEW.” We’ll find out what he means next Wednesday night.
