The Way Reunites On 5/8 WWE RAW – As seen on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, The Way reunited on the red brand, as former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell also made her debut.
Hartwell appeared in a backstage segment with Johnny Gargano, Candice Lerae, and Dexter Lumis. The group was approached by Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville, who were trying to get signatures as they petitioned for a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
After tensions rose, Green and Deville left. Gargano then teased that “he’s coming back soon,” which prompted plenty of speculation as to who the former NXT Champion was talking about.
The Way last reunited at NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania 39 weekend in April, where Indi Hartwell captured the NXT Women’s Championship in a ladder match. After being drafted to RAW, Hartwell was forced to vacate the title.
