The Firm Gets Deleted – Matt Hardy settled his rivalry with The Firm in a Firm Deletion Match on this week’s AEW Rampage.
The cinematic match started with The Firm pulling up in a car outside the Hardy Compound as Ethan Page hit the mailbox with a baseball bat. Hardy’s drone seemingly teleported them into night time, and that’s when the brawl in the woods began.
Matt battled Page at first, while Jeff choked out Big Bill. Elsewhere, Matt’s kids Maxel and Wolfgang tried to run Stokely Hathaway over with a battery-powered kids car. Hathaway then had an encounter with Reby Hardy before getting taken down with a tazer. Inside the warehouse’s ring, Reby hit a Twist of Fate and then Maxel hit a Swanton Bomb off the ropes.
Outside the warehouse, Isiah Kassidy made a cameo to hit a swanton off the roof of the warehouse. Back in the ring, HOOK, Kassidy, and Matt triple-teamed Page. Jeff landed a Swanton Bomb, allowing Matt to cover for the win. As a result, The Firm has been deleted.
