Spoiler On Gunther’s Opponent For WWE Night Of Champions – WWE will present a loaded episode of Monday Night RAW tonight as the promotion has already confirmed several matches and segments for the show, including the official arrival of Intercontinental Champion Gunther after he was drafted from SmackDown.
A battle royal will also take place to determine who will challenge Gunther for the title at the upcoming Night of Champions event. As of this writing, WWE has yet to confirm the participants in the match.
There has been speculation that another WWE star may win the match to earn the title match opportunity after returning to in-ring action over the weekend by working with Guntther, but that’s not the case.
The Boozer666 Twitter account, which has been on a roll of breaking stories as of late, noted on Twitter that Gunther will defend the Intercontinental Title against Mustafa Ali at the upcoming PLE.
The account also noted that WWE would confirm the first match in the planned series of bouts with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch for Night of Champions.
