Vince McMahon’s Not Backstage For Tonight’s SmackDown – For those of you wondering what Vince McMahon will be doing tonight, it does not look like he will be backstage at WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
PWTorch.com’s Wade Keller stated on Twitter that McMahon was not backstage “as of a few minutes ago.” Keller’s tweet was sent out at 4:55 pm Eastern time.
“No sign of Vince McMahon backstage at Smackdown as of a few minutes ago, I’m hearing. Waiting to hear more about whether he’s involved in the creative process, though. As I reported on Wednesday’s VIP Keller Hotline, many were hoping he was at Raw only due to being at WM39 in LA”
There’s been a lot of talk about Raw on Monday because of the rewrites before and during the show with McMahon said to be running things, despite claims from people in management that he would not be heavily involved with the creative end of things.
There has been hope among some talent that McMahon was heavily involved on Monday because he was already in Los Angeles because of WrestleMania weekend. So far, there’s been no sign of him backstage. Triple H will be appearing tonight to address the fans.
