Wrestling Companies Paid Tribute To Don West – During tonight’s SmackDown episode, WWE took a moment to honor Don West, who passed away today after a long battle with cancer.
During The Bloodline’s entrance for their match, Michael Cole said the following about Don West:
“I would like to offer my condolences here tonight to wrestling commentator Don West’s family. Don passed away earlier today A man who made a true impact on the wrestling business. Godspeed to Mr. West.
AEW and NWA also paid tribute to West on Twitter.
βAEW joins the wrestling world in mourning the passing of Don West,β the company wrote on social media. βOur thoughts are with his family, his friends and his fans.β
“The NWA is saddened to hear of the passing of legendary wrestling broadcaster Don West,β NWA wrote. βOur thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and the wrestling community.β
