Samoa Joe Turns On Wardlow – Samoa Joe attacked Wardlow after his match on tonight’s Dynamite. Wardlow won a squash match against Ari Daivari. After the match, Wardlow called out Powerhouse and cut a promo about what he plans on doing to him when they meet in the ring.
As seen below, Joe attacked Warlow with a belt shot to the back of the head and he choked him out. This is been brewing as last week on Rampage there were hints from Joe that he wasn’t happy about being in the background when they were teaming.
This angle seems to be setting the stage for Wardlow to defend the TNT Championship against Hobbs and possibly Joe in a three-way match at the Full Gear pay-per-view. That has not yet been announced by AEW but things seem headed in that direction.
