Blair Davenport Appears On NXT Heatwave

Blair Davenport Arrives On NXT At Heatwave – On tonight’s NXT “Heatwave”, Indi Hartwell was backstage with the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. She congratulated them on their victory and recalled how she used to hold the gold. The duo asked her about it, and she recalled the “good old days.” Hartwell suddenly received a letter, and when she opened it, the paper clearly showed one of Dexter Lumis’ drawings of himself and Indi; in it, Lumis can be seen carrying Hartwell, the words “InDex Forever” are apparent, and a big red heart surrounds the image.

Before Hartwell could celebrate too much, NXT UK star Blair Davenport appeared. She confronted Hartwell and ripped up the picture while she stated that she’s going to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Davenport, formerly known as Bea Priestly, had a brief run in All Elite Wrestling from 2019-2020 before she signed with WWE in June 2021. She went on an impressive undefeated streak on the brand before she unsuccessfully challenged Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women’s Championship due to a bad leg injury.

Previously, Hartwell and Lumis were involved in a lengthy romance storyline, which culiminated in the InDex wedding in September 2021. They remained a couple, but Lumis sporadically appeared on the show before he was released on April 29. However, he has seemingly returned to the company, as he appeared on the past two episodes of RAW. In both cases, he showed up in the crowd, and security officials restrained him.
