WWE might be missing another wrestler due to injury as Xia Li appeared to be injured following her Money in the Bank qualifier against Lacey Evans on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Evans went over in the contest to advance to the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match next month. A fan in attendance uploaded a video to YouTube showing referee Charles Robinson and the medical staffer checking on Li who was still on the mat in the ring. During the time that they were still in the ring, you can see Robinson reaching back to his radio to talk to WWE officials.
They eventually got out of the ring, but Li needed to be helped by the doctor and Robinson as they made their way through the crowd to the backstage area. The reason why they were going through the crowd was due to SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey making her entrance.
There’s been no update on her exact injury yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
