Dakota Kai Reveals New Look – Dakota Kai is entering a new stage in her life as she looks forward to what’s next in her pro wrestling career. She has taken one step towards that by revealing her new ring name, King Kota.
The former WWE star previously filed a trademark for the name earlier this month through Michael E. Dockins, the same attorney who handles trademark filings and other issues for many pro wrestlers.
Kai also showed off her new look with this post on Twitter:
Dave Meltzer previously reported that management didn’t see her as main roster material following her working several dark match tryouts.
Kai worked for WWE for six years and was among the NXT names to be released in April. Her non-compete just ended on Sunday. Prior to her release, Kai told management that she wasn’t planning to renew her contract and wanted out of the company.
