Update On Triple H Heart Issues – On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez talked about Vince McMahon returning to the ring to face Pat McAfee at WrestleMania. McMahon’s return to the ring comes on the heels of the news about Stone Cold Steve Austin returning to face Kevin Owens.
Meltzer said that WWE is doing different things this year in hopes to boost ticket sales for both nights. Alvarez wondered if WWE would bring back Triple H but Meltzer shut that down and indicated that his heart issues are very serious.
“No, Triple H would be a terrible idea,” Meltzer said. “His heart situation is, he can’t. I don’t want to say never because that’s because that’s unfair because maybe he can do something but that would be a horrible idea for him and that’s not gonna happen this year. There’s no way.”
Aside from a video that leaked on TikTok a few months back and a brief appearance on NBC News, we haven’t heard much from Triple H and nothing has been said about his health issues aside from WWE stating that he had a cardiac event in September.
Shawn Michales (with Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard overseeing things) has taken over Triple H’s duties at NXT.
