NXT 2.0 Results (11/30) – The WarGames go-home edition of NXT 2.0 opens up on the USA Network with Vic Joseph welcoming us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. We see the two Women’s WarGames teams walking backstage – Team Gonzalez (Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, Cora Jade, Kay Lee Ray) and Team Kai (Dakota Kai, NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne). The two teams meet backstage and start brawling out into the ringside area.

Women’s WarGames Advantage Ladder Match: Dakota Kai vs. Kay Lee Ray

Kay Lee Ray and Dakota Kai brawl towards the ring and now in the ring as the referee calls for the bell. Ray sends Kai back to the floor and leaps from the top to take her down on the floor for a “holy shit!” chant. The winner of this match will earn the WarGames advantage for her team on Sunday.

Fans chant for tables as Ray brings another ladder from under the ring. Ray rams Kai into the barrier with the ladder, then smashes her again with another superkick. Fans chant “one more time!” Ray goes for the Gory Bomb into the apron but Kai counters and breaks free. Ray chases Kai back into the ring, then back out. Kai counters at ringside after baiting her in, then plants her face-first into the edge of the steel ring steps with a modified DDT.

Fans chant “holy shit!” again and the referee checks on Ray. Kai brings another ladder out as fans chant for NXT. Ray turns it back around at ringside and sends Kai into the steps. Ray slides a ladder into the ring and stands it up. Kai pulls the ladder back to the floor but Ray nails a suicide dive, sending Kai into the announce table. Ray lifts Kai and slams her on top of the ladder at ringside.

Ray brings a ladder back in and stands it up as fans chant “this is awesome!” now. Ray goes to climb up but Kai pulls her off and beats her down. Kai climbs for the briefcase but Ray sends her to the mat and works her over. Kai with more offense after a comeback, then the big running boot to the face in the corner. Kai stands up a ladder under the briefcase but goes back over to Ray to send her into the turnbuckles. Kai stomps and puts a boot to Ray’s face in the corner.

Ray turns it back around and plants Kai into the mat. Ray goes to the top turnbuckle but Kai nails a big boot. Kai with another big kick to hang Ray upside down from the top, hanging out towards the floor. Kai follows up with a big top rope stomp to send Ray crashing to the floor. Fans chant “holy shit!” as we go back to commercial with both competitors down at ringside, Kai smiling.

Back from the picture-in-picture break and Kai has been focusing on Ray’s knee. Kai sends Ray back to the floor and follows. Ray ducks a right hand and drives her into the announce table with the KLR Bomb. Ray returns to the ring and climbs for the briefcase. Kai rushes back in and they trade big right hands at the top of the ladder. Kai knocks Ray to the mat.

Kai reaches up and gets her hands on the briefcase but she struggles with it. Ray gets back up and grabs her foot but Kai kicks her to the mat. Kai climbs back up but delivers a big double stomp to the mat. Fans chant “holy shit!” again. Kai climbs back up for the briefcase but Ray grabs her foot and pulls her down, leaving her hanging upside down on the ladder. Ray uses Kai to climb up the ladder but Kai sends her back to the mat.

Ray kicks Kai in the jaw, knocking her from the upside down position to the mat. Ray climbs up and grabs the briefcase, retrieving it for the win and the WarGames advantage.

Winner: Kay Lee Ray

After the match, KLR stands tall on the ladder as the music hits. Her team, along with the injured Zoey Stark, are shown backstage celebrating. We also see Kai’s team watching backstage and they are not happy. KLR raises the briefcase high up on the ladder as we go to replays. KLR continues celebrating to end the segment.

– We see how Cameron Grimes challenged Duke Hudson to the Hair vs. Hair match at WarGames last week, and how he was later insulted by Andre Chase backstage. We see a video from earlier this week with Chase ranting about how Grimes tried embarrassing him in front of his students, and that behavior will not be tolerated. Chase said Grimes is about to receive an Andre Chase University-sized ass whooping. We go back to commercial.

— We are back and The Grizzled Young Veterans are in the back and Zack is in Brooks Jensen’s locker and Ikemen Jiro shows up and he screams loud enough for KUSHIDA to show up.  They tell each other to shush.  Jensen and Briggs show up and ask KUSHIDA and Jiro what they were doing because Drake and Gibson ran away.

Cameron Grimes vs. Andre Chase

They lock up and Grimes goes for the leg but Chase with a front face lock.  Grimes with an escape and he taunts Grimes.  Grimes with a kick to the chest and then he sends Chase into the turnbuckles.  Grimes sends Chase to the apron but Chase pulls Grimes down by the hair.  Chase with a neck breaker for a near fall.  Chase with an Irish whip and he sends Grimes into the turnbuckles.  Chase kicks Grimes and does the C-H-A-S-E-U Stomp.  Grimes escapes a slam attempt and Grimes with a rana.  Grimes with a running forearm and a second one.  Grimes with a running boot in the corner but misses a curb stomp but hits Cave In for the three count.

Winner:  Cameron Grimes

After the match, Hudson appears on the HHH Balcony and he congratulates Grimes on his last victory with a full head of hair.  Hudson says he knows a guy who knows a guy and he has some future photos of Grimes after Sunday. Hudson says the internet said that he made Grimes look better after cutting his hair.  He is going to remove all of Grimes’ hair on Sunday. Grimes grabs Chase and brings him back into the ring.  Grimes goes into the storage case and he gets some clippers.  A ‘student’ makes the save. Grimes says he is shaving Duke bald at War Games.

— We take a look at who will be in the Men’s Ladder Match.  Johnny Gargano will represent The Millionaires’ Club.

— The New Breed of NXT (Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller, Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, and Trick Williams) walk in the back and we go to commercial.

— We are back with an Edris Enofe video package.  He says that people tried to mold him into what he would be.  He was told that he would never get out of Inglewood.  People wanted him to fail.  He signed up to sacrifice 5 years of his life in the military.  He was told he had accomplished all he could.  He was surrounded by doubters and it isolated him.  Solo Sikoa fought alone and they are not very different.  He gets to prove his doubters wrong.  He wants to be the epitome of excellence.

— Alicia Taylor is in the ring with the New Breed.  She lets them know that Johnny Gargano will be in the ladder match later tonight.  She asks them about War Games.  

Hayes says you are looking at the future of WWE.  Hayes tells Gargano he has done it all in NXT.  You had food on your plate for years.  Big matches and big moments.  Action figures and video games.  He tells Gargano to bring him his plate because he is the A Champion.

Waller says Team Hot Dogs and Handshakes wants us to carry your bags, but we came in and slapped you in the face and put it on social media.  He tells LA Knight that his presence is angering Knight, but that is the Grayson Waller Effect.

Bron says Ciampa calls him a puppy and uses math reference and talks about how he will drown in the ocean of inexperience.  We are going to win at War Games and then I am coming for the NXT Championship.

Tony says he knows a little about gold.  He says they paved the road that they are on.  That road has potholes and he sees four potholes that need to be filled and we will do it with your heads.  You better bring your best on Sunday.

Alicia mentions that their representative in the ladder match is Bron Breakker.

Johnny Gargano says you live in a unicorn and vomit filled fantasy land.  You say you are going to take care of us.  If it wasn’t for guys like me, you five wouldn’t have a ring to stand in.  You want to bury all of that.  You get your chance tonight and it starts with you.  The Big Bad Botty Nephrew himself.  Johnny says he is out here all by himself.  Why not show these people you are not just a Booty Nephew and leave your team in the back.  Give the people what they want, Gargano versus Breakker, one on one and man on man.

Bron tells Gargano if you want a ladder match, he will leave his team behind and he will kick Johnny’s ass.

— We go to McKenzie Mitchell with Legado del Fantasma.  She asks about their match tonight.  Joaquin says they beat them already and will do it again.  Mendoza says Kyle and Von will have no excuses after tonight.  Santos says they will go out and prove themselves.  Elektra says on Sunday they will be draped in gold.

We go to commercial.

— We are back with MSK on their voyage to the Shaman.  Lee is afraid that something is going to go wrong.   Carter turns left even though GPS says he has to turn right.  The GPS says it is about time they finally got to the Shaman.  The GPS is related to the computer from Airplane 2. Lee says they would have gotten there faster if they weren’t driving 7 miles per hour. They get to the door and Carter says he is nervous so he has Lee knock on the door. The Shaman is in a shadow.

Legado Del Fantasma vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner in a Number One Contender Match

Wagner and Mendoza start things off and Mendoza is sent into the turnbuckles.  Mendoza with a wrist lock.  Wagner with a forearm and Mendoza with a chop.  Mendoza goes to the apron and he kicks Wagner and leaps over him.  Wagner with a flying shoulder tackle and Kyle tags in.  Kyle with a kick and Wagner with a head butt.  Kyle with a hammer lock into a side head lock.  Wilde tags in and Kyle with a side head lock.  Mendoza and Wilde with a double spinebuster and double drop kick for two near falls.  Wilde with a shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall.  Wilde gets another near fall.

Wilde backs Kyle into the corner and Mendoza tags in.  Mendoza with a forearm.  Mendoza with another elbow.  Kyle with a single leg take down but Mendoza kicks Kyle away.  Kyle blocks a sunset flip but Mendoza counters with a rollup.  Wagner tags in and Kyle grabs Mendoza and Wagner with a leap frog onto Mendoza’s back.  Wagner with a waist lock take down for a near fall.

Xyon Quinn makes his way to the ringside area.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Wilde with a reverse chin lock on Kyle while Quinn gets closer to Lopez and Escobar puts Lopez between him and Quinn.  Quinn goes after Escobar and they go into the crowd.  

Kyle with a punch and Mendoza grabs Kyle as he comes off the ropes and Wilde with a forearm.  Mendoza and Wilde tag in and they hit a series of clotheslines into the corner.  Wilde tags in and Mendoza with a suplex and Wilde with a senton for a near fall.   Wilde with a slam and he gets a near fall.  Mendoza tags in and they Irish whip Kyle and Kyle with a boot to Mendoza and he sends Kyle to the apron.  Wagner with a boot to WIlde.  Mendoza tries to keep Kyle from tagging in Wagner but Wagner makes the tag.  Wagner with a boot and a power slam.  Wagner with a leaping flatliner to Wilde.  Wagner with an Olympic slam for a near fall on Mendoza.  

Wagner with an Irish whip but he misses a splash into the turnbuckles.  Mendoza with a springboard drop kick.  Wilde and Kyle tag in.  Kyle with a forearm and Wilde with punches.  They go back and forth.  They continue the exchange.  Kyle with a kick to the leg followed by a slap and a jumping knee.  Wilde with a punch and Kyle misses a rebound clothesline.  Wilde with a DDT. 

Wilde slaps Wagner and it brings him into the ring and the referee stop him.  Mendoza tries to hit the side Russian leg sweep and drop kick but Mandoza goes over the top rope.  Wagner with a knee and then they go high and low for the three count.

Winners:  Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner

— McKenzie Mitchell is with Imperium.  She asks them about their opponents on Sunday.  Barthel says to let the people understand them.  Barthel says it does not matter. Kyle says they bounce back and this team of misfits is one win from the tag titles.  They say they will see Imperium on Sunday and Wagner calls them dumbasses. 

— We have a video package for Joe Gacy.

We go to commercial.

— We are back wtih Tiffany Stratton.  She says she has been called her Little Princess by her daddy.  They should drive the best cars and have the best clothes.  Price tags are just numbers.  My dad says I can be anything I want and that is what I will do.

— Joe Gacy is in the ring with his All Inclusive Invitational.  

Joe introduces himself and he says standing in the ring is how the future of the Cruiserweight Division will be.  The reign of the current champion has created a toxic and unrealistic environment for the NXT Universe and its competitors.  In the world of Joe Gacy, it will not be based on a height requirement or weight shaming to prevent its competitors from greatness.  He will not allow gender bias to stop progression.  He invited these competitors to show their best as Joe prepares to dethrone Roderick Strong a NXT Conflict Resolution.

Joe Gacy vs. Some Guy Named Harris

Harris with a side head lock and Gacy with a shoulder tackle.  Harris with a super kick and drop kick.  Gacy with a boot to Harris and he kicks him.  Gacy with a splash and uranage.  Gacy gets the three count.

Winner:  Joe Gacy

After the match, Gacy helps his opponent up and hugs him. We see a female wrestler in the ring and Gacy says he will give this young lady a chance.

Before anything can happen, Diamond Mine interrupts and Malcolm Bivens says he does not have to create this spectacle.  How about a legitimate fighter like Roderick Strong.  Bivens says this is the first and last Joe Gacy All Inclusive Invitational.  On Sunday, Diamond Mine is going to shut you up for good.

Joe says there is no need for his aggression.  He asks for Bivens to keep his people outside so he can speak to Roderick Strong ‘person to person’. Bivens says that Joe done messed up. Gacy asks Roderick if he always allows Bivens to speak to him.

Strong hits Gacy and Gacy with a handspring clothesline.  Brutus and Julius enter the ring and Harland pulls Gacy from the ring.

— Solo Sikoa is with McKenzie Mitchell and he is asked about Edris Enofe’s comments.  Solo says this is not the military. Boa shows up and he says something that Sikoa cannot understand.

We go to commercial.

Solo Sikoa vs. Edris Enofe

They lock up and Enofe with a side head lock but Sikoa with a shoulder tackle.  They lock up and Sikoa with a wrist lock.  

Robert Stone walks to the ring.  

Sikoa with a wrist lock and Enofe with a waist lock.  Sikoa with an elbow.  Sikoa with a kick to the back of the leg and a diving head butt.  Sikoa gets a near fall.  Sikoa with a round kick followed by a boot to the chest.  Enofe with punches but Sikoa with an elbow to the head.  Sikoa catches Enofe and hits a uranage for a near fall.  Sikoa with kicks and an elbow.  Sikoa misess an elbow drop and Enofe with a standing moonsault for a naer fall.  Enfoe with a blockbuster for a near fall.  Enofe with a front face lock.  Sikoa pushes Enofe away and Sikoa with a kick to the chest.  Sikoa with slaps and punches followed by a back fist and kick.  Sikoa with a round kick to the head followed by a back senton for a near fall.

Sikoa sets for a running hip into the corner but misses.  Enofe with punches but Siko pushes him down.  Enofe with a drop kick and a springboard knee in the corner followed by a cross body.  Enofe with a DDT and he goes up top.  Enofe comes off the turnbuckles for a 450 splash but Sikoa moves and Enofe rolls through.  Sikoa with a Samoan drop and a frogh splash for the three count,

Winner:  Solo Sikoa

After the match, Boa attacks Sikoa and applies the Asiatic Spike.  Enofe kicks Boa and Boa applies the Asiatic spike on Enofe. Boa leaves the ring. Sikoa picks Enofe up from the mat.

— We see Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta in the back and Indi has a call from the hospital.  She is told that Dexter is gone.  Persia tells Indi to focus on their match.  They head to the ring and someone is still sleeping on the sofa in the room.

— We are back and Xyon Quinn is asked about his fight with Santos.  Xyon says it has just begun. Elektra Lopez says she wishes Xyon did not do this but she admires what he is doing.  She wishes him luck against Santos Escobar next week, he will need it.

Persia Pirotta and Indi Hartwell vs. Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz

Indi and Feroz start things off and Leon with kicks but Indi catches Feroz and Feroz with a kick.  Feroz with a kneeDT and a second one.  Feroz works on the ankle.  Indi with a kick and Leon tags in and hits a missile drop kick followed by a moonsault.   Leon with a single leg crab.  Persia tags in and kicks Leon and then clotheslines Feroz.  Persia with a clothesline and snake eyes to Leon followed by a TKO gourdbuster for the three count.

Winners:  Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta

— We run through the card for War Games.

— Johnny Gargano makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

— Back from the break and we get a vignette from Draco Anthony. He’s sitting at a table, with what appears to be a cup of coffee, and says those who talk the most usually don’t have much to say, but NXT is different as it has a locker room full of stars who back it up. Draco says he’s not going to talk, just show us. He’s not what NXT wants, he’s what NXT needs. He is Draco Anthony and his actions speak louder than your words.

Men’s WarGames Advantage Ladder Match: Johnny Gargano vs. Bron Breakker

They lock up and Breakker sends Gargano to the mat.  Gargano goes for the ankle but Breakker stays on his feet.  Breakker with a side head lock and Gargano with a reversal.  Breakker with a front face lock and a Gator Roll into a delayed vertical suplex.  Bron with shoulders in the corner.  Gargano with a head scissors and drop kick.  Gargano with a pescado.  Bron picks up Gargano and hot shots him on the apron.  Breakker grabs a ladder and brings it to the ring.   Gargano tries for a baseball slide into the ladder but Breakker pulls up the ladder and takes care of Gargano.  Gargano with forearms.

Breakker catches Gargano on a leap frog and hits a power slam.  Breakker sends Gargano to the floor.  Breakker starts to climb the ladder but he sees Gargano on the apron so he gets off the ladder and walks into a slingshot spear.  Gargano kicks Breakker between the ladder and pushes the ladder into Breakker.  Gargano with a suicide dive that sends Breakker over the announce table.  Gargano puts the hood of the announce table against the table.  They exchange foerarms.  Gargano sends Breakker through the hood.  Gargano hits Breakker with the hood of the announce table.  Gargano with punches and then he gets back into the ring and starts to set up the ladder but he sees Breakker entering the ring.

Breakker with a belly-to-belly suplex.  They both climb the ladder and they exchange punches.  Breakker punches Gargano off the ladder and Gargano pushes the ladder over and Breakker goes to the floor.  Breakker with a clothesline into the ladder against Gargano and the ladder falls onto Gargano.  Breakker with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.  Breakker with punches and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex onto the ladder.  Breakker puts Gargano onto the ladder and Breakker misses an elbow drop off the turnbuckles.  Gargano puts the ladder on the turnbuckles and Breakker with a knee.  Gargano slides under the ladder and then Gargano sends Breakker into the ladder with a drop toe hold.

Gargano adjusts the ladder and goes up top.  Breakker with a forearm and Gargano is on top of the ladder.  Breakker presses the ladder over his head but Gargano gets to his feet.  Gargano with super kicks and Breakker flips the bird before Gargano hits a third one.  Breakker with a shoulder in the corner but Gargano with elbows.  Breakker puts Gargano on the turnbuckles and Breakker sets for a FrankenBreakker and hits it. Breakker gets another ladder and sets it up in the ring.  Gargano with forearms and a rolling elbow or two.  Breakker blocks a third one and Gargano counters a military press into a DDT.  They both climb the ladder and Gargano hits Breakker with the briefcase and Breakker falls to the mat.  

Breakker pulls Gargano off the ladder and hits a power slam.  Gargano rolls to the floor and Breakker climbs the ladder and gets the case.

Winner:  Bron Breakker

After the match, Breakker stands tall up high on the ladder with the briefcase as the music hits. We go to replays. NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, Grayson Waller and Tony D’Angelo rush the ring and stand tall as Bron looks on from the ladder. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, LA Knight, and Pete Dunne suddenly rush the ring as a big brawl breaks out. Gargano and Breakker also get involved. Team Old School brawls with Team New School as the WarGames go-home edition of NXT goes off the air.
