WWE RAW Results – Draft Edition (10/4) Nashville, TN

RAW Preview - WWE Draft Continues, Goldberg Returns

WWE RAW Results – Draft Edition (10/4) Nashville, TN – We are live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, and we are ready for Night 2 of the WWE Draft. But first, Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring to start the show.

We get a video package looking at how RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair was drafted to SmackDown on Friday, and how she laid out Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair after Banks won the main event over Belair. Flair then faced off with Lynch to end the show. The announcers hype Banks vs. Belair vs. Lynch at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

Fans chant “Becky!” as she takes the mic. Becky announces that The Man has come around to RAW, and fans pop. She says it feels pretty good to be back on this stage, but now she’s about to make a bunch of executives in the back angry by jumping the gun but she doesn’t care because she does what she wants. Becky says the first Draft pick is… fans chant her name as she plays to the crowd. Becky says this is her show now. She knows she’s still holding the blue brand tall but let’s not forget she was the longest-reigning RAW Women’s Champion and technically she never lost the title, and the person holding it now, they’ve gone back & forth a lot. Becky says Flair hasn’t been the same since they last fought, but Becky has been better than ever and Flair can’t stand it. Becky says it’s time to become Becky 2 Belts again. The music interrupts and out comes Flair.

Graves says Becky is not officially on RAW just yet. Flair marches down to the ring but takes her time. Flair and Lynch face off as fans pop. Flair says Becky was just Becky Pre-show before Flair made her famous. Flair tells Becky to get over her inferiority complex because no matter the brand, she will always look up to Flair. Flair says they clearly have some unfinished business but the music interrupts and out comes new RAW Superstar Bianca Belair to a pop. Fans chant “EST!” now.

Belair takes the mic and says she has unfinished business with both of them. Belair says they both must be threatened by her because they took cheap shots at her on Friday. Belair says they aren’t ready for her to become The EST of RAW… because she goes here now. Flair says that was cute, but hush because the champions are talking. Fans chant “Charlotte sucks!” now. Belair says Flair is standing here… but technically she doesn’t even go here. Belair tells Becky to get her girl Flair. Flair says she’s no one’s girl. She goes on and has words for Belair, who she says should be thanking her for paving the way. Becky stirs the pot and wonders what would happen if Belair and Flair ever wrestled. Flair says she only gives out opportunities, not charities. Belair gets ready for a fight.

WWE officials Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce interrupt from the stage. Deville announces Flair vs. Belair for the first time ever on tonight’s RAW. Pearce announces Natalya and Tamina Snuka vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley with the titles on the line, but first the WWE United States Title will be on the line.

WWE Draft:

RAW selects AJ Styles and Omos

In the Arena:

Big E is still in the ring. He says it feels incredible to be on his show.  He says he would be lying if he didn’t say there were not some challenges.  Kofi and Woods were drafted to a brand he is not on.  He was in the most physically demanding match of his career but he sent Bobby Lashley to his knees to prove that he is the rightful WWE Champion.  But, in typical WWE fashion, before i could breathe for a minute, the next challenger came down the aisle and identified himself.  This man is a two time WWE Champion and a literal swordsman.  This man is Drew McIntyre.

Big E asks Drew to come to the ring eef ya wheel and speak your mind.

Drew’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring with his sword.

Drew says it’s a Drew Day, yes it is.  Technically, he has been drafted to Smackdown but he has unfinished business.  He got screwed out of his title by Lashley and MVP.  I was waiting for a hero and you vanquished Lashley and you are the WWE Champion.  Drew says this would be the time when someone pushes your buttons to get a title match, but Drew says he is not going to do this.  He says Big E deserves to be the WWE Champion.

Drew says there is one person you have been waiting for to congratulate you, but I wanted to congratulate you to your face and says that you have earned my respect.  Drew says, but, technically you did cash in on an injured Lashley.  Although technically, Lashley cashed in on me.  No one likes Lashley so you did the world a favor.  That allows me to do this . . . I challenge you to a match for the WWE Championship.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode come out.

Roode says they were waiting to hear whether they were going to be drafted to Raw or Smackdown, but he couldn’t help but overhear that beautiful story.  Ziggler says everyone knows he is a fan and congratulations on winning the WWE Championship.  Dolph wants to know why you forgot to thank him.

Big E asks Dolph if he wants him to thank him.

Dolph says Big E is a guy he thought would forget but he shows fooage of Big E with Dolph Ziggler in 2013.  Dolph says without him, there is no E, there is no New Day, there is no Money in the Bank Cash in.  Woods might not have been born. We see footage of Big E as Ziggler’s bodyguard.

McIntyre says he actually has a point. Dolph turns his attention to Drew McIntyre and he wants to remind Drew of where his career was a few years ago.  You brought yourself back to WWE.  We see footage from 2018.   It is because of me that you beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.  All I want is a simple thank you.

Big E asks if Dolph wants a thank you from them.  Big E and Drew discuss things and Drew says you have upgraded from him and Big E with Roode. Roode says he is twice the friend and twice the tag team partner that Drew ever was.  He says he puts the body in bodyguard.  They call me Big Bob.

Big E says nobody calls him Big Bob. Dolph says this is about what he has done.  I decide who goes on to stardom.  I am asking for a simple thank you. Drew asks the people of Nashville what they think.

Big E says they do owe Ziggler something… an ass whooping. Big E issue a challenge for a tag team match, right here tonight, right now. The crowd pops and the two teams argue.

We go to commercial.

Ziggler with a super kick to Drew as we go to commercial.

We are back and Roode with a reverse chin lock on Drew.  Roode runs into a back elbow and Drew with a forearm but Roode with a kick to the leg.  Drew with a head butt and both men go down.  Ziggler and Big E tag in and Big E with two overhead belly-to-belly supelxes.  Big E avoids a clothesline and hits a belly-to-belly suplex.  Big E does a Sexy Party and then hits a Warrior Splash.  Big E sets for the Big Ending but Ziggler escapes wit a rake of the eyes.  Big E with a uranagE for a near fall.  Roode with a knee when Big E goes for a spear through the ropes.  Ziggler with a Zig Zag but Drew breaks up the cover.  Roode sends Drew to the floor.

In the Arena:

Goldberg makes his way to the ring. Bill says Bobby Lashley has the audacity to claim that what he did to his son was a misunderstanding.  It wasn’t.  It was intentional.  Tonight, I am inviting Bobby Lashley into this ring so I can intentionally break his frigging neck.

Bobby Lashley comes out and he says that what happened at SummerSlam was a misunderstanding.  You must be out of your mind to think that I am coming to the ring to risk this custom suit to whip your ass again.  Because we aren’t dressing like it’s 1998.  I know you are angry but you need to stop perpetrating that myth that I attacked your son and you owe me an apology.  I am going to give you a match at Crown Jewel, under one condition.  That it is No Holds Barred.

Lashley tells Bill he can bring his son along.

Bill says No Holds Barred gives him a License to Kill.  You think I am crazy and I am.  You want an apology?  I’ll give you one.  I’ll apologize to your kids after I leave your lifeless body in the ring gasping for air.  There is one thing for sure Bobby Lashley, you’re next… and you’re dead.

Goldberg’s music starts to play but Bobby interrupts. He tells Goldberg you cannot kill the All Mighty.  The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.  If Gage has the balls enough to do what he did again, it won’t be a misunderstanding.  What would you do if someone came into the ring and jumped you on your back.

— Randy Orton and Riddle make their way to the ring. Will Omos accept Orton’s challenge? We’ll find out after a commercial.

In the Arena:

Randy says that he is in the ring and he is waiting for Omos to answer the challenge.  Are you AJ’s personal colossus or are you a giant bitch?

AJ and Omos come out and AJ says if Randy wants a response, well they were celebrating his victory over Gilligan.  He says that Randy is insignificant.  It does not matter if Omos destroys you or not.  Do you really think that Riddle has any brain cells from stopping them from taking the tag titles at Crown Jewel?  AJ says he is excited that they have all been drafted to Raw because they can take those titles and shove them in your faces week after week.

Omos starts to answer the challenge and Orton knocks AJ down.  Riddle goes after Omos.  Orton avoids a clothesline from Omos and hits the RKO to Styles in the process. Randy and Riddle get out of the ring laughing.
