Kay Lee Ray Headed To NXT? – WWE could be bringing in former NXT UK Champion Kay Lee Ray to the NXT brand in the United States.
Pwinsider.com reports that Lee Ray has been seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The report noted there’s no word on when the former champion could be making her stateside NXT debut or even if there are plans for that to happen, but she’s been training at the facility regularly as of late.
Ray signed with WWE NXT UK in 2019. She had been the NXT UK Women’s Champion for nearly two years, but dropped the title in her most recent match on June 10th to Meiko Satomura.
The past two weeks of NXT TV have been taped, but live shows will resume next week. WWE is bringing in NXT UK Champion Walter and Ilja Dragunov for their match at NXT TakeOver 36.
