WWE RAW Results – July 12, 2021 – We being with a graphic In Memory of Paul Orndorff.

— We take a look back at recent history between Bobby Lashley, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

— We’re live, for the last time, from the WWE ThunderDome at Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, as The New Day make their way to the ring for our first match of the night.

Bobby Lashley vs. Xavier Woods

Before his entrance, MVP tells Bobby Lashley it is time to set an example while the Lashley Ladies Legion cheers for him.

Lashley goes for the leg and he sweeps the other one.  Lashley with a waist lock take down.  Woods with a side head lock.  Lashley sends Woods off the ropes and Woods returns to the side head lock.  Woods with a series of kicks and a back senton for a near fall.  Woods with a front face lock.  Lashley presses Woods over his head and drops Woods on the floor from the ring.  Lashley stares at Kofi before Lashley hot shots Woods on the ring steps.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Lashley with punches and shoulders in the corner.  Lashley with a running shoulder into the corner.  Lashley pushes Woods into the corner and Lashley with another running shoulder into the corner.  Lashley misses a shoulder in the corner and Woods with a super kick.  Lashley goes for a slam but Woods counters with a DDT.  Lashley goes to the floor and Woods with a flip dive.  Woods sends Lashley back into the ring but Lashley pushes Woods away.  Lashley sends Woods to the apron and Woods with an enzuigiri.  Woods with a missile drop kick for a near fall.  Woods with a crossface on Lashley.  Lashley gets back to his feet and he hits a side slam to escape the hold.  

Lashley sends Woods to the mat and then he sets for a Dominator but Woods gets to his feet.  Lashley with a spinebuster and the Dominator.  Lashley sends Woods to the floor and Lashley follows.  Lashley gets Woods on his shoulders and he runs Woods into the ring post.  They return to the ring and Lashley waits for Woods to get back up.  Lashley with a spear and Woods holds his ribs.  Lashley stands over Woods.  Woods with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner:  Xavier Woods

After the match, the music hits as Kofi checks on Woods at ringside. A seething Lashley looks on and he’s disappointed. Lashley makes his exit, walking up the ramp with the WWE Title, straight past MVP and Lashley’s Ladies. The New Day celebrate in the ring now as we get more replays. Woods and Kingston taunt MVP as he looks on from the bottom of the ring.

– Still to come, Eve Maria and Doudrop will be on Alexa’s Playground. Back to commercial.

— We are back and Kevin Patrick ambushes MVP to tell him that Bobby Lashley has left the building.  MVP says Lashley has left the building, but it is not what you think.  He is just blowing off a little steam.  He will be in the VIP Lounge.

— We see what happened last week with Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal when the McIntyre family sword that came from the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs was absconded by Jinder.

— We see Jinder Mahal arriving at the building earlier today and he is greeted by Veer and Shanky.  Jinder asks if they have the sword and Shanky gives it to Jinder.

Backstage:

Alexa Bliss is in her Playground and she talks about the Four Way match tonight and the Money in the Bank match on Sunday.  She says what kind of fun could she have when she gets her hands on the briefcase. Eva wants to know if Alexa is going to introduce her… them. Alexa welcomes Eva and Doudrop to her playground.  Alexa says she likes Doudrop’s name and she says it many times.  Alexa asks her to say in one word what her time has been. Eva interrupts and says Evalutionary.  They won their match last week thanks to her. Eva is shocked that she is called a surprise bonus by Alexa.  Eva is the headlining star.  This is the last time she steps foot in this dingy, grubby, little playground.  Eva says she can see why Alexa only invited Doudrop.  The Evalution deserves so much better.  Doudrop waves at Alexa before leaving.

— Jinder Mahal, Shanky, and Veer make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

In the Arena:

Jinder says he had some time to reflect and he might have taken things too far.  He says he knows how proud Drew is of his Scottish heritage.  He does not know if Drew has been able to eat or sleep before the Money in the Bank ladder match.  He wants Drew to come out so he can apologize, shake Drew’s hand, and give him back his sword.  Jinder says he is trying to do the right thing and he asks Drew to come out.

Drew is in the back and he is probably near Jinder’s motorcycle.  Drew asks Jinder how he is doing.  He says that Jinder is a decorated champion and a liar so he wants Jinder to cut through the BS.

Jinder says he wanted to do this in person, but if this is how you want to do it.  Veer and Shanky got your sword refinished.

Jinder reveals a sword that was broken.  Jinder apologizes and says something must have happened.

Drew says you cannot show up on Raw with something and expect it to get destroyed.  Drew says that sword is a replica and then Drew shows that this… is the real thing.  Drew says he does not think that this is a replica as he does walk to the motorcycle.  Drew says it looks a little delicate and then he destroys the motorcyle. Drew tells Jinder it’s nothing a little elbow grease can’t fix.

Backstage:

Nikki ASH is in the Gorilla Position and Riddle shows up.  He says that Nikki reminds him of a super hero that he used to watch.  Riddle tells Nikki she should fly up and get the briefcase. Nikki says she loves super heroes as much as the next person, but she is ALMOST a superhero so there is no flying.

— Nikki ASH makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Nikki A.S.H. vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka vs. Naomi

Before the match, Asuka says after she wins Money in the Bank for a second time, no champion in WWE will be ready for Asuka.

Naomi drop kicks Nikki and Asuka to the floor and Naomi runs Alexa into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Alexa with a punch.  Alexa hangs in the ropes and hits a cross body for a near fall.  Asuka punches Alexa and Nikki with a double leg take down and jackknife cover for a near fall.  Nikki with a rollup on Naomi for a near fall.  Asuka drop kicks Naomi and Nikki.  Naomi and Asuka with forearms and then Asuka with strikes and then Naomi and Asuka miss a series of kicks until both hit round kicks at the same time and they go down.  

Nikki gets back into the ring and so does Alexa.  Nikki does her almost pose and she slaps Alexa.  Alexa goes for Sister Abigail but Nikki with a kick and drop kick.

Eva Marie and Doudrop make their way to the ring. 

Naomi with a leg lariat to Nikki.  Asuka kicks Naomi and Alexa with a DDT on Asuka for a near fall.  Alexa waves at Doudrop and Doudrop waves back.  Doudrop and Alexa start talking and then Eva freaks out over Alexa walking towards her.  Alexa screams at Eva and Doudrop slaps Alexa and then sends Alexa over the ringside barrier.

Eva and Doudrop look where Doudrop dropped Alexa and Alexa is not there.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Asuka with kicks to Nikki and Naomi.  Naomi with a kick but Asuka with a German suplex and hip attack.  Asuka kicks Nikki and then hits a running bulldog on Naomi and then gets a near fall on Nikki and then Naomi.  Naomi with a round kick to Asuka and a bulldog into the turnbuckles.  Naomi gets Nikki on her shoulders and hits a TKO.  Naomi with a belly-to-back suplex to Asuka and she hits a splash on both for a near fall.  Naomi kicks Asuka and gets a near fall.  

Nikki with a tornado DDT to Naomi and Asuka breaks up the cover.  Asuka goes to the floor when Nikki moves.  Nikki goes for La Magistral but Naomi blocks it and gets a near fall.  Naomi with the Glowmission and Asuka kicks Naomi to force her to release the hold.  Asuka goes for a cross arm breaker but Nikki with a seated splash to break up the hold.

Nikki with a cross body to Asuka but Naomi breaks up the cover.  Naomi goes to the apron and she kicks Nikki.  Asuka with a Codebreaker in the ropes and Nikki with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Nikki with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall and Asuka with an Asuka Lock.  Nikki with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Nikki A.S.H.

— We take a look back at what happened last week when Riddle defeated AJ Styles.

Backstage:

Sarah is with The Viking Raiders in the back.  She asks them about their singles matches and how they plan to approach their matches.  Ivar says he will be facing AJ Styles, who has insulted their way of life and said that Vikings are nothing more than smelly barbaric brutes.  Ivar says they have spectacular and excellent hygiene.  Tonight, AJ will learn respect for the Viking culture after he gives him a phenomenal beating.  Erik says he has the tall task of facing the massive Omos.  This is his first one on one battle and I will use that inexperience to find a crack in his mighty armor and get the victory.  Next week, we will raise the Raw Tag titles above their head.

We go to commercial.

 AJ Styles vs. Ivar

AJ Styles is in the ring and he says before they put on an absolute clinic, he needs to get something off his chest.  Ivar… Erik, I said some things about the Vikings that you might have found offensive.  I want to apolotize.  I never should have called you barbarians.  I should have called you uneducated barbarians who never should have come off their wooden boat to come after the Raw Tag Team Champions.  If you haven’t kept up with what’s going on with the VIking Raider and the Raw Tag Team Champions, they have been sticking their noses in our business and kept me out of the Money in the Bank ladder match.  Ivar, I will take your leg and break it in the Calf Crusher.  After that, Omos will have his first ever singles match on Raw.  He will destroy Erik so badly he wishes he never took off his ridiculous horned helmet.  At Money in the Bank, we will destroy them limb from limb and show why we are the Raw Tag Team Champions.

AJ with forearms and AJ flips over Ivar’s back.  AJ with a punch and hit has no impact.  Ivar flips over AJ’s back.  Ivar blocks a kick and he punches AJ.  AJ with a slap and Ivar slaps back.  Ivar with a Bronco Buster for a near fall.  AJ escapes a slam and Ivar holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt.  Ivar with a shoulder tackle.  Omos distracts Ivar and AJ with an enzuigiri to Ivar.  AJ kicks Ivar in the midsection.  AJ misses a splash and Ivar misses a splash.  AJ puts Ivar’s leg in the rope and kicks the leg and follows with a DDT for a near fall.  AJ with a reverse chin lock.  Ivar with a back body drop and side slam.  Ivar with a cross body.

Ivar goes for a suplex and AJ lands on his feet.  Ivar with a cartwheel and clothesline for a near fall.  AJ with a back heel kick to Ivar and then AJ goes to the apron for the Phenomenal Forearm but he goes for a sunset flip and then follows with a Pele Kick.  Ivar with a seated splash in the corner for the three count.

Winner:  Ivar

We go to commercial.

Erik vs. Omos

Erik with a waist lock and Omos tosses Erik to the mat.  Omos misses a punch and Erik with kicks and forearms.  Omos pushes Erik down and hits a shoulder tackle.  Omos goes for a slam  but he takes too long and Erick gets to his feet and he kicks Omos in the leg.  Omos runs into a boot in the corner.  Omos with a bear hug.  Omos with a biel and then Omos charges into the corner but Erik moves and he punches Omos and hits a series of running forearms and a flying knee but Omos stays on his feet.  Omos with a clothesline.  Omos stands over Erik and screams.  AJ tells Omos to finish him.

Omos picks up Erik and hits a veritcal choke slam for the three count.

Winner:  Omos

Backstage:

Sheamus is in Adam’s office with Sonya.  Sheamus wants to know if they care about their superstars after being told he had to defend his title.  He asks if this is a joke.  Sheamus says his nose is broken and none of you care.  All you care about is giving the man who did this a title match.  Here I am, ready to defend my title. Sonya wants to know if they are on the same page.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are walking in the back and they see Lucha House Party.  Lince wishes Kofi luck at Money in the Bank. Sarah ambushes Kofi and Xavier and asks if this is a sign of what is going to happen on Sunday.  Sarah mentions that Bobby is back and he will be in the VIP Lounge.  Kofi says that Bobby would rather be distracted than focus on his match against Kofi.  Xavier says that Kofi will continue the momentum from tonight to win the title.  Kofi says Bobby should know how hard it is to become WWE Champion.  Being champion is about being on your best grind and face all challengers.  Those days will be back when I beat Bobby Lashley to become the WWE Champion.

— We have a video package for Money in the Bank.

Backstage:

We see Sheamus attacking Humberto Carrillo in the back and then he swings wildly at officials.  Sheamus sends Humberto into some scaffolding.  Sheamus tells Humberto he better not sleep on the job because he has a big US title match next. Sheamus walks past Damian Priest before Priest checks on Carrillo.

Back to commercial.

— We are back and Humberto says he has to compete while Sonya and Adam ask if he wants to push back the match.  Humberto says if he can stand he can fight.  Damian Priest gives him the touch of support.

Sheamus vs. Humberto Carrillo for the United States Championship

Humberto gets a few steps out of the corner and collapses.  Sheamus with a Brogue Kick for the three count.

Winner:  Sheamus

After the match, Sheamus goes to the apron but returns to the ring and he kicks Humberto.  Sheamus with a double fish hook and he slams Humberto’s face into the mat.  Sheamus says he will break Humberto’s nose, but as Sheamus lifts his leg… Damian Priest’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and Sheamus decides to go to the floor and avoid Priest.

— We take a look at what happened recently between Ricochet and John Morrison.

Backstage:

We see Ricochet walking in the back and Riddle bumps into him.  Riddle says he is going to join Ricochet to the ring.  Riddle talks about how exciting it is to be heading out west again.  Riddle says he misses Randy. Riddle and Ricochet talk about what they are going to do if they win the briefcase.  Riddle says he will surprise Randy by cashing in for the Raw Tag Titles. Miz and John Morrison show up while Ricochet talks about him.  Miz sprays Ricochet with the drip stick and then Miz runs over Riddle’s foot.

— Miz and Morrison head to the ring as we go to commercial.

John Morrison vs. Ricochet in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

Morrison with a kick and side head lock.  Ricochet with a springboard hesitation arm drag.  Morrison sends Ricochet to the apron and Morrison kicks Ricochet and then Morrison goes to the apron and puts Ricochet in the ropes and hits a neck breaker on the apron and Morrison gets a near fall.  Morrison kicks Ricochet in the midsection.  Morrison with a back slide and Miz helps Morrison with leverage and Morrison gets a near fall.  Morrison kicks Ricochet in the ribs.  Morrison with a snap mare against the ringside barrier and Morrison with a back heel kick for a near fall.  Morrison punches Ricochet in the midsection and then they return to the ring and he continues to kick Ricochet.

Morrison sets for Starship Pain and Ricochet with a waist lock and deadlift German suplex for a near fall.  Morrison sends Ricochet to the floor and Morrison with a twisting splash off the apron for a near fall.  Morrison sends Ricochet into the ringside barrier and then he sends Ricochet into the land of the monitors.  Ricochet sends Morrison into the monitors and then back over the ringside barrier.  Morrison kicks Ricochet and then they get onto the ringside barrier and Morrison falls awkwardly.  Ricochet with a 450 splash off the ringside barrier.  Ricochet gets a near fall.

Ricochet with a punch and he sets for a springboard move but Morrison goes to the floor.  Ricochet with a shooting star press off the ring post as we go to commercial.

We are back and Ricochet is down and John Morrison gets a ladder to drape across the apron and announce table.  Ricochet avoids the ladder and he punches Morrison.  Ricochet with a cross body off the apron and he gets a near fall.  Ricochet sets for a dive onto Morrison but Miz gets in the way.  Ricochet leaps over Miz and hits a flip dive for a near fall.  Ricochet with a European uppercut as they go up the ramp to the stage.  Morrison with punches and he gets Ricochet up for a slam but Ricochet escapes.  Ricochet goes for a suplex on the stage but Morrison blocks it and hits a knee.  Ricochet lands on his feet and he sends Morrison to the stage with a head scissors take down and Ricochet gets a near fall.

Morrison with a back heel kick and they fight to the Gorilla position.  Morrison with a super kick to Ricochet and a kick to the ribs.  Morrison with a kick to the chest and a running knee across the chest for a near fall.  They return back to the stage.  Ricochet with a boot to the head and he punches Morrison down the ramp.  Miz backs away from Ricochet but Ricochet pushes Miz down the ramp and Ricochet with a cross body to Morrison for a near fall.

Ricochet with a shoulder from the apron and a kick to the head against the turnbuckle.  Miz sprays Ricochet and Morrison with a rollup for a near fall.  Morrison with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall.  

Riddle scooters his way to the ring to pull Miz over in his wheelchair and Riddle mimics him.  Morrison comes off the turnbuckles but Ricochet hits Recoil.  Ricochet kicks Morrison onto the ladder hanging off the apron.  Ricochet goes up top and hits a frog splash onto the ladder and the ladder breaks.  Ricochet gets the three count.

Winner:  Ricochet

Backstage:

Tamina and Natalya are in the back nad Sarah ambushes to ask Natalya what she has to prove against Rhea Ripley.  Natalya says she has a plan and she plans to do what no woman has done.  She plans to hold all women’s titles.  Tamina hears Mandy and Dana and she deals with them. Tamina and Natalya want to know what is so funny.  Dana and Mandy say a plan can’t be fullproof when it comes from a fool.  Mandy says she doesn’t like Nattie’s odds of becoming the champion of everything.  Tamina pushes Dana and then Tamina and Natalya leave.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Kevin Patrick asks Drew about Money in the Bank.  Drew says this might be his last opportunity to reach the top of the mountain.  Drew talks about Icarus and compares himself to Icarus.  

— Rhea Ripley is ambushed by Sarah and she is asked about her match against Natalya.  Rhea says Natalya challenged her and she is not one to back down from a challenge.  She will beat Charlotte on Sunday and she will give Charlotte a reason to need crutches.

 Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Rhea with a wrist lock and she runs her forearm across the face.  Natalya with a rollup for a near fall.  Natalya with a waist lock and Rhea with a standing switch.  Rhea with a wrist lock and Natalya with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Rhea floats over and Rhea thumbs her nose at Natalya and Rhea with a rollup for a near fall.  Natalya with a kick.  Ripley with an ankle pick and they alternate near falls.  Rhea with a head butt.  Rhea with RipTide set up but Natalya escapes and gets a near fall.  Ripley sends Natalya to teh floor and then Rhea sets to drop kick Natalya but Natalya moves but Tamina was right behind her so Tamina goes down.

Natalya with a discus clothesline on the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and Rhea knocks Natalya off the turnbuckles but Natalya gets back up.  Natalya with forearms and Rhea with a head butt.  Rhea with a missile drop kick.  Rhea misses a splash into the corner and Natalya with an Irish whip but she runs into a boot for a near fall from Rhea.  Rhea with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Natalya punches Rhea from the apron and sends Rhea’s head into the ring post.  Natalya with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Rhea kicks Natalya into the turnbuckles.  Natalya avoids a splash and Natalya with a slingshot atomic drop.  Natalya runs over Rhea and Rhea blocks the drop kick.  Rhea with the reverse cloverleaf but Natalya with a rollup for a near fall.

Natalya with a sharpshooter on Rhea.  Rhea rolls Natalya into the turnbuckles.  Rhea with a kick to the head and she hits RipTide for the three count.

Winner:  Rhea Ripley

After the match, Charlotte clips Rhea and throws her jacket at Rhea and then drops a knee on the leg in the ropes.  Charlotte with a figure four leg lock and then Charlotte hangs from the apron to add more pressure.

— MVP is with Bobby’s Babes and he wants them to make sure that this VIP Lounge is the best.  

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Charlotte walks slowly in the back so Sarah can ambush Charlotte about her plans for Sunday.  Charlotte says she learned how to play the game from the dirtiest in the business and the people of Fort Worth will find out on Sunday.

VIP Lounge:

MVP is in the VIP Lounge with the Lounge Ladies.  He mentions this is the end of WWE in the Thunderdome.  He brings out Bobby Lashley, but Bobby does not hear his cue to come to the ring.

Bobby Lashley comes out but he does not have his jacket on and he is not in a good mood.

Porter wants to know where Lashley has been.

Bobby takes the mic and he says Porter has said enough.  He asks the ladies to excuse them for a moment because he needs to talk to Porter alone.  Lashley says he doesn’t want them here.  He says he thought Kofi was trying to talk trash and get in his head.  Kofi was right.  You made me lose my edge and I got soft.  I lost to Xavier Woods.  I should have dismantled that twerp.  I am furious right now.  You are trying to cheer me up with champagne and women.  I appreciate everything you have done for me but this bulls*** has to end now.  Back to business.  All the enjoyment I want to have is destroying everyone who challenges me. 

Lashley destroys the VIP Lounge.  

Lashley loosk at MVP and then he picks up the mic and he tells Kofi he is going to do this weekend what I should have done weeks ago. I will tear you in half.  I will go into Money in the Bank as the champion and I will leave as champion.  I am going to dismantle you and do everything I said I was going to do.  I hope you are ready to fight, not just for this championship, but for your life.  I will cave your skull in and then put you in a box with all of the other clowns.  The circus is dead and on Sunday, so is your career.
