Chelsea Green Returns To Impact Wrestling At Slammiversary – Matt Cardona picked a mystery partner to take on Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood on tonight’s Impact Wrestling Slammiversary. This opened up a big surprise at Slammiversary, but a lot of people saw this one coming.
When the time came to reveal Matt Cardona’s mystery partner, Chelsea Green made her return to Impact Wrestling. The former Laurel Van Ness, the Hot Mess herself, is back in her former stomping grounds.
Green appeared for ROH, and she will compete with them eventually. She also didn’t sign a deal with them, and obviously she was free to work Slammiversary. They made this big entrance by calling attention to her former TNA character, but they also made it clear that Chelsea Green was there and not Van Ness.
Huge “Welcome Back” chants rang out from the crowd. Green has a cast on her arm, but commentary noted that Impact Wrestling had cleared her for action. Cardona and Green were able to pick up the pinfall victory after Green landed an unprettier on Dashwood.
