When Omega Vs Moose Was Taped – As noted, Kenny Omega defended Moose to retain the Impact World Heavyweight Championship at the Against All Odds special on Saturday night.
Fightful Select reports the main event was actually filmed last weekend around the AEW Dynamite tapings at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The report added that several Impact wrestlers didn’t even know when the title match was filmed.
Moose earned the title match by winning a six-way match last month at the Under Siege special.
Omega went over in the contest to retain the title. During it, there was a referee bump that caused some outside interference by The Young Bucks.
Omega will defend the title against Sami Callihan at Slammiversary on July 17th. All Elite Wrestling has already confirmed that Omega will defend the AEW World Title against Jungle Boy on the June 26th edition of Dynamite.
