As tickets go on sale this week for AEW shows in Florida and Texas, WWE is also preparing to resume live events as well.
The Mat Men Podcast’s Andrew Zarian is reporting that WWE has plans to begin touring on July 16. As of yet, there is no word what cities they plan on going to but the live touring will be for the main roster beginning with Friday Night SmackDown.
As previously noted, WWE is looking into locations for SummerSlam and Madison Square Garden is being considered. Now that vaccines are available for anyone that wants one and with restrictions being relaxed, it looks like things will be getting back to normal for sports and entertainment touring in the very near future. AEW Double Or Nothing on May 30 will have full capacity seating at Daily’s Place.
