Plans For 2021 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony

Plans For 2021 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony – WWE started to make announcements regarding this year’s Hall of Fame including the confirmation of the date and the classes that will be part of the honorary night. There will be two classes – one for 2020 and the other being for 2021.

Fightful Select reports as of earlier this week, the plan was to pre-tape the show in some capacity. It was noted, “It isn’t ideal, but something that WWE realizes is probably best for the time being.” With two classes, it’s going to be a long night.

Before the ceremony was nixed last year, attendance at the Hall of Fame was to be mandatory for talent and Vince McMahon became upset in recent years that talent would duck out of the show early. It should be noted that the majority of those who did leave early had good reasons such as doing early morning appearances and other media obligations.

The 2020 class will include Batista, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, The Bella Twins, and The NWO (Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman).

Molly Holly is the first inductee for the 2021 class. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 6th, and will air on Peacock in the United States and internationally on the WWE Network.
