BREAKING: Miro (FKA Rusev) Debuts on AEW Dynamite

Tonight’s Dynamite episode saw the All Elite Wrestling debut of Miro, formerly known as Rusev in WWE.

Kip Sabian promised that he would reveal the best man for his upcoming wedding with Penelope Ford. Sabian made a point to say that his best man is THE best man. Who did he reveal?

Sabian and Ford came out to make the big announcement, but they needed to kick Tony Schiavone out of the ring first. Sabian introduced the best man and Puff came out. Sabian told Puff that he’s not the best man, he’s just good at taking up space. So, he kicked him out.

Brian Pillman, Jr came out next and they acknowledged that this is his birthday. Then Sabian kicked him out of the ring too. Suddenly, Miro, former WWE Superstar Rusev came out as the real best man.

Miro had a smile on his face and everyone went insane Daily’s Place. He hugged his Twitch brother Kip Sabian and waved to the crowd. This was something that Jim Ross said he did not see coming. Plenty of fans were hoping it was inevitable.

The fans chanted “Miro day,” and he said that has a nice ring to it. He spoke about spending 10 years in the same house reaching for an imaginary brass ring. “Well, you can take that brass ring and shove it up your ass!” he shouted.

Miro said he’s THE best man. He’s the best gamer on Twitch. He devours people in the ring. He is Miro, he is Elite, and Elite realizes Elite. “My name is Miro and I am All Elite,” he said before throwing down the microphone and heading to the back.

Miro was released from WWE earlier this year due to business changes from the COVID-19 pandemic. AEW has already announced his signing with the company.
