This week’s Viewership War saw AEW Dynamite pick up another win over WWE NXT in viewership and ratings in the key demos.
Wednesday’s Dynamite episode drew 845,000 viewers (+7% from last week) on TNT, topping the 615,000 viewers (-3%) garnered by NXT on the USA Network by 37%, according to Showbuzz Daily. It was the second largest margin of victory for Dynamite over NXT this year.
AEW ranked #5 in the Cable Top 150 for the 18-49 demo, while NXT ranked #35. AEW ranked #63 in viewership, while NXT ranked #71 in viewership. It is the best number for Dynamite since moving to empty arena shows on March 18th, while it is the fifth-lowest NXT viewership of the year.
Last week’s Dynamite episode drew 788,000 viewers and ranked #5 in the Cable Top 150. Last week’s NXT episode drew 631,000 viewers and ranked #49 in the Cable Top 150.
AEW drew a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic (+10%) while NXT drew a 0.17 (+21%) in the same demo this week. Last week’s AEW show drew a 0.29 rating while the NXT episode drew a 0.14 in that demographic.
