As noted earlier this week, WWE announced a free tier of their streaming service, WWE Network.
This allows fans without a subscription to have access to a vast portion of its content library for free with no credit card required.
Apparently, WWE has dropped the long-standing offer to fans of signing up for the network with the first-month subscription being free. Thus, it appears that due to the introduction of the free tier of the streaming service, the free month for new subscribers is no longer being used.
It’s likely that the free month for new paid subscribers was dropped because subscribers can preview the WWE Network all they want with the new free version. The paid version is still $9.99 per month.
