WWE 205 Live star Oney Lorcan has reportedly requested his release from WWE, according to PWInsider.
There was speculation about his status with the company when he recently changed his named back to Biff Busick on social media.
Lorcan had been teaming with Danny Burch on WWE NXT and 205 Live and has been working for WWE since 2015. As of this writing, WWE has not granted his release.
He is the latest in a list of names that include Luke Harper, Mike Kanellis, and Sin Cara. ACH (Jordan Myles) recently announced that he quit the company. The reason why WWE has been so hesitant to grant releases is that they don’t want wrestlers popping up on AEW Dynamite. However, there is a push in the company to let unhappy wrestlers leave.
